Wanted to give more stars but the waiter want very friendly and she had super long finger nails so when she brought our food they were poking into my food I threw away a lot because I wasn’t going to eat food that had someone’s finger nails in it and I was afraid to send it back. And they automatically put 15 percent tip on your bill no matter what. The food was good I’m not going to complain about that.

So I went here with a friend who was leaving, for a going away meal. First off, I ordered a Margarita, She asked if I wanted flavoring I said no thank you, just a regular margarita on the rocks. She brought me a strawberry margarita. I decided to let that slide and not say anything because I do like strawberry margaritas and the taste was good. Then, I asked if they had shrimp enchiladas, as I didn’t see it listed on the menu, She answered no. They have shrimp and they make enchiladas but they couldn’t make me a shrimp enchilada , made no since. So, I ordered the Chile Rellenos, there was no meat in it, just cheese. Chile rellenos is traditionally stuffed with minced meat. At every other restaurant I’ve ordered them they were stuffed with ground beef. Besides that, when I cut into the second one the cheese wasn’t even melted it was still in blocks. And lastly, I noticed a green bean in my rice and when I looked further I noticed peas and carrots. I realized they’re using rice pilaf for Spanish rice . The flavor of the food was OK but not at all traditional in any manner. They cut too many corners. If you love experiencing good food this place is not worth visiting. You can get much better food at the other two Mexican restaurants in the area. And let me be clear I was not expecting a five star meal but in my opinion this was pretty bad. I read in another review that they charge a takeout fee!! Ridiculous!! If I had ordered takeout and they tried to charge me a fee, I would leave the food where it sat and walked out. A takeout fee is absurd and unacceptable! Smh

My first time going and I won’t EVER RETURN. I had a strawberry margarita n dam near gotten choked off a piece a glass that came up through the straw. I ran to the restroom n throw up my guts. The OWNERS WIFE SHOWED ZERO REMOSE. she didn’t even ask if I was okay the only persons was concerned was my waitress and another customer . They can never get my services again.

The food was good, nice portion size, and nice staff. However, I am not a big fan of cilantro and there salsa is full of it. I opted for a large cheese dip. If I had one issue, it would be communication issues between waiters and the kitchen. Our order was delivered wrongly, and the waiter could not tell me the weight of the special house steak, and had to ask the kitchen. Our waiter was not new, it was simply a lack of knowledge. Either way, we did enjoy the food all things said.

The grounded beef was VERY SALTY, so bad I could not enjoy the food nor finish it. First visit and I was disappointed driving 30 miles into this. The customer service that finally came passed after 20 minutes was good. The salsa was tasty. They were out of tamales. Oh, I waited over 20 minutes before I as able to get a waitress. The help/workers just doing themselves and no interest in the customers. The manager was out!!!
