This was our first time eating here for lunch and we were pleasantly surprise. In the town of Rice its a hit or miss on restaurants. They food was great. Food came out hot. Food came out quickly. You should definitely come check it out. Great Mexican food. Prices like 5% to 10% higher than the norm, but still a good value.

My Sister and Brother–in-Law were visiting from far West Texas near El Paso where Mexican food is King. Took them to Los Agaves in Rice for lunch. They both said it was the best Mexican Food they ever had. Quite the compliment. If you haven’t been you have to try this place. It is so good. The waiter recommended the corn dish appetizer. Not sure what its called but it was delicious. Also love the black bean dip with tortilla chips.

AMAZING! We stopped in for lunch as we passed by on a road trip and we were so glad we did!! It has a cute family feel and was easy to get to. We had the Torre De Mariscos, Chile Relleno and Tacos De Pescado and they were all fantastic, as were the chips and salsa. Blanca was our server and she was so attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Don’t miss out on this gem!!

The food is amazing here. I had the enchiladas Aztecas and my wife had the flautas both plates were delicious. I definitely recommend if you are traveling on 45.

We’ve chosen this place randomly and were glad that we did. It was mostly empty on a Sunday evening, but the menu was full of great choices. We ordered cucumber lemonade, which was very refreshing. The pozole was amazing, but the portion was so HUGE, that I had to take it home and finish the following day. The burrito was also HUGE and very tasty. Tacos were so good that my kid, who is not a fan of Mexican cuisine, finished them all. We would definitely stop here again when we are passing by.
