I give them 5 stars for the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff, but at the same time, I feel sorry for them because how is it possible that the owners or managers can’t see that they need more staff to serve the tables!I always eat there because the food is delicious, but unfortunately, we don’t have the full service. I’m not trying to speak ill of the waitresses, but they need help. I see them running around answering phones, delivering orders, and cleaning tables. That’s exploitation on the part of the owners, in my opinion. They’d rather lose customers than pay more staff.

I met up with some family in Whittier area and eow. The food was delicious and I LOVED the guanabana (soursop) juice! I’ve never seen it available anywhere before! We had about 7 people in our group and everyone loved their food! Pretty much everyone got pupusas and my partner got the chow-mein which I hear was surprisingly delicious as well. Someone else had told him about it. We live far, but when we’re in the area we’re definitely making a visit.

That home cooked salvadorean feel. Ladies speaking with that accent and they have your classic american foods like burgers and fries.

I feel sad that this place has changed its quality. I brought a guest from Boston to eat Pata soup, and it was ruined. They gave it to us like that, and the waitress was super annoying, saying that it was us. Also, the air conditioning doesn’t work. It’s a disappointment… I won’t come back.

I’ve been to many Salvadoran restaurants but this is probably my new number one. The Papusas are 9.9/10 for sure. They are bigger cheesier and are very tasty! They were grilled to perfection with succulent crispy edges that were oozing with warm crispy cheese with a great cheese pull. The horchata is also delicious. Not the standard horchata that u will find at 7-11 or Pollo Loco. This the real deal flavor that tastes like it was just imported from El Salvador the day before. I would definitely recommend and visit again
