Loretta’s Northwesterner in South Park, Seattle. Tender, moist …
Reviews
This place has always been rough around the edges, but the service was a lot more attentive and friendly on a Friday for lunch.
As of Jan 2026, Double tavern is $11 and fries are $6 pre tax, sauces (ranch, secret sauce, tartar) will set you back 70 cents — still fairly priced considering post COVID shrinkflation
A pint of beer, double tavern, and fries will set you back about $32-$35 after tax and tip
Great burgers. Stuck with the basics for this trip but friend had the deluxe and said it was very good. Need to go back for that pork tenderloin sammy. Share the fries if you like because the orders are big and they are really tasty. However, fries do not come with meals. They must be purchased separately at additional cost.
No dogs allowed, even on the back porch.
Some parking on street but otherwise a lot in the back.
It’s a dive bar and though there is a TV it is not a sports watching pub.
EDIT: Returned for the pork tenderloin burger. It was very large and something different than the usual bar burger one normally expects.
Of note, though I called this and many others call this a dive bar (especially considering its locale and appearance), it is not dive bar prices. It was $35 for the tenderloin burger, an order of fries and a beer but it is a lot of food.
I got to try several items including the double tavern, the deluxe burger, the fries, and the chili fries. I added bacon to my deluxe burger which ended up being a nice touch. I think the portion sizes and quality of the burgers were great for how much we ended up paying. The bread was soft, the beef had a nice cook to it, and the fries were crispy and had the right amount of salt.
Overall, this is a really good hangout spot to come with a group and order some drinks and food. I really like the laid back environment and there was plenty of space to hang out. Would recommend!
The staff was super chill and helpful—this was my first time there, and they made the ordering process easy and seamless. I went for the tavern burger (single), fresh-cut fries, and a beer, and honestly, everything hit the spot. Simple, tasty, and exactly what I was hoping for.
From what I could tell, Loretta’s is one of those places that people can rely on for a solid meal and a good time. I’ll definitely be back for more.
Note- my rookie mistake was driving pass their parking lot in the back lol. Just a heads up for newcomers— they do have parking.
Definitely get a tavern burger! Worth the drive to Southpark area.
Lemonade was okay.
