After a long day at the St Louis zoo we were able to get a reservation at the last minute. We had a charming dinner of house salad, pizza with fresh tomatoes, beef medallion and the appetizer with thin beef slices and fresh mozzarella and a cannoli to top it off. The red wine and pierroni on tap were perfect and the limoncello was a nice touch to end the meal. We love trying all the places on the Hill and always have a lovely time.

Food was excellent!! The ossobuco is a must try. Very tender!! I am picky on my risotto and i absolutely love this. The manhattan I had was made very well. The salads were ice cold, kinda different with pistachios. Service was incredibly fast. Everything was flavorful.

Best Italian Restaurant on the Hill by far in my opinion. The scumptous Potato Gnocchi is so delicious and never changed in all these years.
Staff us warm and welcoming to the customers as they walk in the Restaurant. Waiters & Waitresses are the best, always on top of everything you need or want, they will go above and beyond to make sure you’re experience is fabulous. Prices are reasonable to evey place on the Hill. Another good item is the appetizer Eggplant Parmesan.
I tried their Chocolate Martini, kudos to the bartender as it was so good. We always leave with leftovers too, but ne I order some Gnocchi to take home too haha. It was my birthday dinner, so they brought out a dessert with cake, ice cream and whipped cream, lordy it was filling and a nice end to dinner. Please support locally-owned restaurants to keep them in our communities.

Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable.
My steak and sprouts were perfect and he loved his seafood pasta. The drinks were strong.

The food was excellent, especially their two large pieces of aracini appetizer. The salad was very flavorful and had just the right amount of salad dressing on it. I had the chicken spedini and the presentation was great, the chicken itself was so good and juicy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want great Italian food.

If you are looking for a great dinner with amazing service, I highly recommend Lorenzo’s. Started the meal with fried calamari and an order of scallops. Received hot from the kitchen. Our table ordered a variety of menu items. Hands down the best house salad around. Chicken asparagus risotto, angel hair pasta, pizza and the seafood special were all received exactly as ordered. Everything was hot and freshly made. We ended our meal with a variety of Gelato. If you are looking for great dining experience, try Lorenzo’s. You will not be disappointed.

So the hubby and I have both picked up UBEREATS deliveries from here, so for my bday he (along with my close friends) surprised me!! Can I just say this was an experience that anyone who can afford it should have-not only because the food was magnificent, but the staff was truly amazing! I’m big on customer service and even tho our full party hadn’t arrived, we were lead to our reserved room and immediately introduced to Jen(we found out later she’s also the manager and we see why ). The way she gave us a very detailed synopsis of the Off Menu items, we were ready to order drinks(there is no drink menu for this, but they offer all the regular cocktails-i for a whiskey mule and it was strong and delicious )cuz the actual menu included alot of stuff I wanted to try! 30mins later, we finally ordered not bc of them but because we were comfortable lol. I went with the fresh seafood pasta sub the angel hair pasta and hubby veal(it was new for him and he wasn’t too fond of the bone marrow ♀️) also had the mussels which were smaller than I expected, but still flavorful! All of my guests truly enjoyed the food and hospitality-we will surely be back again.

We go to Lorenzo’s Trattoria every December after the annual Christmas show at the St. Louis Symphony. The atmosphere is perfect, the food is amazing, the service is top-notch!
We are lucky that every year we get Jenn who is a fantastic server who practically knows our names.
