A group of us took our hungry kiddos here after 2 hours of trampoline park. The dining inside is not the typical restaurant size but it was perfect for a lunch break. We got 3 pizza pies: cheese, pepperoni, and grilled chicken bacon ranch! They were excellent. Plus, we got the funnel cake fries, and a dozen mild wings which came out steaming with excellence!

First time we visited Lorenzo’s. We were glad for the dining area, albeit very small and cramped. It would be great if carry out patrons were able to pick up someplace dedicated so they’re not standing amongst the tables waiting for their order. Quality of the pizza and toppings was very good. Service was good and relaxed. Looking forward to going there in summertime to enjoy the outdoor dining.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting Lorenzo’s Pub and Pizza, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly lived up to the sign above the bar: “The Gathering Place – Where Friends Become Family.” That sentiment truly came to life during my visit, and I left feeling like I’d discovered a new go-to spot.
The ambiance at Lorenzo’s is a delightful mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. The wooden bar counter, paired with sleek high-backed stools, gives off a cozy pub vibe, while the soft lighting and thoughtful decor—like the vintage “Lorenzo’s Italian Pizza” sign and framed sports jerseys—add a touch of nostalgia and character. The dining area is spacious yet intimate, with neatly arranged tables that make it ideal for both small gatherings and larger groups. String lights with little pizza slice decorations added a playful, festive touch, making the space feel warm and welcoming. I also couldn’t help but notice how spotlessly clean the entire restaurant was—everything from the hardwood floors to the countertops gleamed, and the bathroom was pristine, which is always a huge plus in my book.
The food was nothing short of fantastic. I ordered an Italian sub, and it was hands-down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, with a crisp exterior and a soft, chewy interior, holding together a generous stack of fresh ingredients. Layers of ham, salami, and pepperoni were paired with crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, thinly sliced onions, and just the right amount of seasoning. A tangy dressing tied it all together, making every bite absolutely delicious—I couldn’t stop raving about it. The sandwich came with a side of golden, crispy fries served in a parchment-lined basket, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by a small cup of ketchup for dipping. Every element of the meal was executed with care, and it’s clear they take pride in their ingredients and preparation.
What really made my experience unforgettable was the service—particularly the bartender who served me. He was around my age, and his genuine kindness and enthusiasm were infectious. From the moment I sat down at the bar, he greeted me with a big smile and immediately struck up a conversation that felt effortless. He was incredibly attentive. It’s rare to find someone who can multitask so seamlessly while still making you feel like a priority, and his passion for his job shone through in every interaction. He even recommended a few menu items for my next visit, which I’m already looking forward to trying.
The little details at Lorenzo’s really stood out to me as well. The bar area had a great selection of drinks, with neatly arranged bottles of wine and a variety of beers. There were also thoughtful touches around the bar, like a sign advertising a “Mug Club” and another with Wi-Fi information, which made the place feel both community-oriented and practical. Having the Pirates game on added to the lively atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal while catching up on the score. The staff worked together seamlessly, creating a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.
Overall, Lorenzo’s Pub and Pizza exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, the restaurant was impeccably clean, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they genuinely care about their customers, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal with friends, a spot to grab a drink and watch the Pirates game, or just a place to enjoy some fantastic food, Lorenzo’s is the place to go. I’m already counting down the days until I can return—five stars all the way!

Amazing food. Ate a white pizza, BBQ and hot ranch wings, and a steak hoagie. The pizza was delicious, with a flavorful crust cooked beautifully. The wings were crunchy on the outside, yet moist on the inside with great flavors. The steak hoagie was perfection on toasted bread. First time visitor, but will be becoming a regular!

Pgh Pizza
Pizza was cooked well, different type of cooking method than I’ve seen anywhere else.. good foundation, painted on sauce with lots of herbs, id like to see more cheese for a $20 pie with ½ a topping.. overall a 6.8.

Winced a bit upon seeing the prices ($20 for a calzone) but reconsidered after getting our food: portions were very large and tasted quite good, and was enough for at least two meals. Sat on the outside patio, which was very pleasant. The server was friendly and had the right level of attentiveness and the owner or manager stopped by to check that everything was okay. Definitely consider if you’re in the mood for pizza and similar Italian fare.

Got Hot Garlic Parm wings, and Pepperoni/sausage pizza and both were amazing. Also had a half Italian, little too much bread ratio for my taste. Overall, great experience. Super friendly service, and clean restaurant.

Lorenzo’s Pizza does only pickup now as they cannot get enough people to do deliver for them – as told to us by their owner – but they do offer another unique service which makes it worth a stop. They have an outdoor seating area alongside the building and they arrange for musicians to come in and play. So, they turned a pizza joint into a pub!

We went and tried them on a recent night. It was a nice, warm, Saturday evening and it was a great experience overall. We met the owner on the way in and chatter with her for a few minutes. Then, we went around to the side of the building and found some seating. While there is a window with a sign that says “Order Here” they actually had a waitress running around -and I mean RUNNING! This woman was hustling to take care of orders, deliver food, deliver drinks, and take care of a bustling crowd. She was always on the move and kept apologizing to us for keeping us waiting. We did not mind as we saw how busy she was and the wait times were actually not that long.

Menus were on the table. So, we decided on what we wanted, ordered, and listened to the singers until it arrived. We ordered some beers, breaded mushrooms, Jalapeno poppers and a Spinach Calzone. That was also the order in which they arrived. The beers were properly cold. The two appetizers were deeply fried and on the hairy edge of being greasy. The calzone featured too little spinach for our taste but had a satisfying combination of ricotta and mozzarella. The crust was a bit too thin in the middle so the edges were too fat. Also, it’s a good idea to let it rest for a few minutes before cutting into it. See the picture of the cut one that I’m including to see why. These complaints are actually relatively minor as we really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the whole scenario, and will definitely be coming back with friends to enjoy a nice evening out at the pub.

I can probably count on one hand the number of reviews I’ve left in my entire life. I am just not a review writing person. But I did feel the need to come on and mention the amazing experience I had with Lorenzo’s this past weekend.

We ordered two large pizzas for pick up. My husband went and picked them up, and when he got home, we noticed that one of the pizzas was not what we ordered. It wasn’t the end of the world because my kids would still eat the pizza we were given. A little bit later I noticed a voicemail on my phone. Lorenzo’s themselves had called me to let me know that they made a mistake, and that they would be crediting me for that pizza, as well as saying they owe me one the next time I come in. To me, that is amazing customer service. I get wrong orders all the time from all over. Mistakes happen. We are all human. But I have never once had a place reach out to me to rectify it. It is always the other way around.

This is an amazing way to run your business. Not to mention the pizza is excellent. Great job, Lorenzo’s!

Cool homey neighborhood kinda place with good food and friendly staff. Great bourbon selection at reallly reasonable prices. My wife got the steak hoagie and I the Italian. Both were very good. I had a few Sierra Hazy IPA’s. A fresh beer clean glass (IYKYK) every time. An all around pleasant experience. Will definitely return. ***Update Wife and I returned tonight… I can’t say enough good things about this place. This time Southen Tier 2X was on tap and it was delicious. When draft beer is handled probably it makes all the difference in the world. From the first sip you can tell and the lacing on the glass proves the care they put into the cleaning process. But I digress… Please know that this is a neighborhood pizza/hoagie joint… but the food is next level and the staff really great…it’s awesome.
