This place is absolutely wonderful. Aside from the cocktails being utter delights, the bartenders are top class. The bar staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the cocktails, and they seem to project this vibe that makes me want to come back time and time again. Statistically, I’m bound to have less than a perfect experience here, but it hasn’t happened. Maybe it’s dumb luck, maybe this place is the bee’s knees? Try the Bassett Hound and leave these folks a good tip. Also, Commerce bar around the corner can suck eggs.

I love the aesthetic here! Great pretzels with beer cheese and woodfired pizza (not the burnt kind!) would go back again and again. Cocktails are pretty strong, you’ll get your money’s worth in alcohol.

I’ve never had cacio pepe anything before but I’ve heard about it a lot, so naturally I was really excited to try it. I ordered online, my order said it would be ready in 35-40 minutes. When I arrived I was told the pizza was still being made. So I ended up waiting maybe 7 additional minutes. By the time I got the pizza and arrived home which was maybe a 10 minute ride the pizza was barely warm, it tasted like it had been sitting. I will say it was raining pretty heavily so there’s a possibility that’s why it wasn’t that warm when I arrived home but that doesn’t explain the freshness. The slices were also very uneven. There was one huge slice that could have been cut in two. I honestly was disappointed. The restaurants are also confusing because online it’s advertised as the bar next door but it’s actually around the corner.

Not worth visiting.
First of all, the staff is rude. When I was going to pick up my food, a food runner with green hair came running around the corner and ran right into me. I apologized, and they said “I SAID corner for a REASON”, scoffing. Weird way to treat a customer. Plus, the bartender was inhospitable too and made ordering uncomfortable.
The whole bar is just weird. It’s so dimly lit that my phone wasn’t even able to scan the menu QR code without using a flashlight. I ordered a drink and food at one bar, was given a little beeper for the food, and told to go down a weird hallway to pick it up. And the bar I ordered my drink from wasnt the cocktail bar, so I had to go to another bar to get my drink. A strangely complicated experience for pretty mid, and very expensive, food and drinks.

Super friendly bartenders, and excellent food. The pizza can take quite a while to come out (ours was just under an hour), but the appetizer and drinks were an excellent placeholder. The wait time was also very worth it.

Love this place, the decor is fantastic and the lineup of beer is great. Has lots of the Golden Age beer always available as they are affiliated and a good selection of Imported beers. If you enjoy lagers, pils, and German style beers this is the place. The pizza is also very delicious. Great place to grab a beer and some food, lots of places also in walking distance.

Great space with good drinks- a variety of beer, wine and cocktails and they are associated with the pizza place next door so you can eat here too!

Stopped in here for a Friday evening nightcap and was not disappointed. Trued a couple of libations, but the Old Money stood out. The drink menu rotates regularly, and they do have a taproom if you’re there for beer. I did not try the pizza, but it seemed popular. The best part had to be the service. The crew here are personable, professional, and poised. Would belly up to this spot for a drink and banter any day of the week.

What a gorgeous, cozy place! We were recommended to check this place out, and we were absolutely tickled pink to find such a unique and well-loved place. The traditional beer hall tables in the back are so cozy, the Woodfired partnership gave us the most delicious cacio e pepe pizza to enjoy while we gushed over the fact we could have kölsch service within a mile of our house. We will be coming back, we will be bringing friends, and we hope to come back when more German beer lovers are filling this place with laughter.

Lorelei is a really cool cocktail bar with extremely unique drinks you’ll not likely find elsewhere. The tenders really know what they are doing. A really nice place with an eclectic and vintage feel. A great place to meet for a drink and catch up with friends. A great place to sketch and draw as well. Lots of interesting people and things to draw. Check it out.
