We visited Lore in Malá Strana on our way down the castle and had a wonderful experience. Even though we did not have a reservation, but Giuseppe Pippo kindly found a table for us, which we truly appreciated.
The service was excellent — very attentive and impressively quick. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic; everything we tried reflected the quality of a genuine Italian restaurant. The portions were also very generous. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. If you’re craving Italian cuisine in Prague, Lore is definitely a spot worth visiting.

We had lunch at Lore while exploring the Malá Strana area in Prague and walked in without a reservation. The upper floor was fully booked, but we were offered a table in the lower level (basement), which turned out to be perfectly fine and quite cozy. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by a waiter dedicated to that area.
We started with a beer and a prosecco, then ordered two main dishes: the beef tagliata with parmesan and arugula, and the Tordelli alla Massese with meat ragù. Both dishes were excellent — the meat was especially tender and full of flavor. We also shared a focaccia on the side, which was very tasty.
To finish, we had a panna cotta, which was delicious and a perfect end to the meal. The only small downside was the draft beer (Malastrana), which tasted like the barrel had been connected a bit too long.
Overall, a very good experience and definitely a place I’d recommend. All the other plates passing by looked amazing too — we’d happily come back to try more!

One of the best Italian restaurants we have been in Prague. The food was excellent and tasty, the portions were big and the price really decent! The service was what it made it stand out because you could clearly distinct the Italian warmth!!!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The restaurant is beautiful, with a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible — without a doubt, one of the best cappelletti soups we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious.

I was looking for an early dinner near the hotel I was staying in and this looked like a great option being a short walk away. I walked to the restaurant shortly after arriving from work on the tram. It’s located uphill in a lovely little street. The restaurant felt cozy inside, they also had three or so outdoor tables. I was able to be sat, but it seems like if you’re going to have dinner at a regular time it might be best to make a reservation. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! I will definitely be recommending this spot to my friends and I look forward to visiting again in. The future when I’m here again!

I had no idea of this restaurant. I am happy to find this gem in the middle of touristy jungle. The location, atmosphere, food and service were fantastic. I was there with my three friends celebrating birthday. We had regular – main dish, dessert, drinks and coffee and all was very tasteful. Will come more often.

Pretty restaurant. We ordered 2 meals – lasagna and tortellini. The portion size was really off. Lasagna was 3-4x bigger portion than tortellini. Warmth of tortellini was moderate, definitely not served warm.
Appetizers were in a size of main food. They didn’t add cheese knife for a cheese appetizer.
Ordered Mojito – they add a lots of rum into it.
Very poor beer selection.
Tables were way too close to each other. No privacy while eating, we sat almost shoulder-shoulder with other guests.
