UPDATE:

My partner and I came back after talking with one of the owners, Steph. Such a lovely and passionate person! The same can be said about chef, Chris. He came to talk with us after our meal and told us how they identified our issues with our first visit and the solutions they have in place to prevent them. The work they put into the service and food is outstanding. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the menu this time around. I picked every morsal of food from my plate. The lamb shank was cooked for 5 hours and was so tender and paired very well with the bed of ratatouille and polenta.

Again, I cannot understate the service. The waitress we had was knowledgeable in the food and was always there to explain every course.

This place is definitely zoning in on their craft. To sum up the food: European influence with southern hospitality.

(Old review)First off: My partner and I got SICK. We were served cold risotto and my scallops were raw. The only hot meal they had to serve for this 4 course set and they messed it up. I wish I could have grabbed a picture of the raw scallop but the servers were great and took care of me immediately as I said it.

For the price, this was very disappointing. Most of the food we ate could have been made at home in a night all from a trip to Kroger’s. The only decent dish I enjoyed was the cauliflower soup but even then I feel like it was lacking flavor. You will not be full. The $35 charcuterie board only comes with 4 crackers.

The service was good. Our waitress was super informative on the dishes and very helpful.

Atmosphere was good as well, however we sat next to a very wide faux olive tree and people kept running into me while going between the tree and table. I would definitely push that tree back.

There was no WOW factor that made me love or even like a dish. There was a lot of high expectations from marketing but you could honestly make this food at home.

My time at L’Orange Restaurant was outstanding. The cuisine goes beyond freshness; it’s an artful blend of sophistication and flavor. The ambiance breaks the norm, offering a distinctive setting, while the beverages are a concoction of creativity and meticulous craftsmanship. They offer an exciting Whiskey Mobile Bar that travels to each table!! The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience unique, enjoying the perfect blend of traditional and modern flavors in farm setting! With its French touch this eatery is a fusion of all things comforting and enjoyable. We’ll be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the L’orange pop up, it’s refreshing to have a meal that you leave feeling good (there was no overly processed food loaded with salt and sugar to trick you into thinking it taste good).

The service was quick with bread, drinks, and appetizers all out within 10 minutes or less. Our waitress was friendly and the owner made several stops at each table to check on everyone.

I am eating gluten free (by choice) so they quickly accommodated my request to add GF crackers to the plate for the salmon dip, much appreciated! The lamb literally fell off the bone when I picked it up and the polenta was delicious. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the soup, the fried kale was a nice touch. The bananasu was so creamy and delicious, I left wishing I could buy a big batch from them.

I’m happy to see an option like this in the Boro, I’m looking forward to the brick-and-mortar location opening and hope this will be a permanent fixture within Murfreesboro dining.

Excellent all the way around. Food and presentation was beyond any food experience I have had. Warm Bread was brought out at the beginning with a honey butter that was absolutely amazing.

L’Orange is perfect for any special event or even a night out. They were very accommodating for people with specific food needs. A very special restaurant.

Love loved our dinner at L’Orange! It truly felt like we were in Europe! The atmosphere, the food (amazing), the drinks…all were great. This is a must visit. We are true foodies and love to try new places. This one will be on repeat. The owners are also such great people and truly have a passion for serving others and providing a memorable experience. Highly recommend. We look forward to going back again for date night <3

Such a lovely dinner in a beautiful space. Follow their social media to learn about pop up dinners. Our server was attentive and kind. I appreciated how others checked on us and how they worked as a team. Nice wine and cocktail selection including a variety of bourbon.

My wife and I love these sorts of pop up places. In the past three months we’ve eaten at restaurants in Las Vegas, Dallas, New York, and this was the best we’ve had so far this year.

Come hungry because they are going to feed you some of the tastiest and heartiest plates you can imagine. You know when you’re staring at the last bite of an amazing meal and it makes you sad that it’s gone? They give you enough that it never happens.

The drinks were fun and refreshing. A classic old fashioned with a smoky twist was a fantastic selection to enhance the aura of the atmosphere and the smell of the warm bread at the table.

I couldn’t help myself, so I also grabbed the bramble cocktail which smelled and tasted otherworldly.

TL;DR
Rustic but modern, hearty and delicious, Family friendly and fun.

Love the new pop up French restaurant at the Williamson County Farm!! New food items every month with a fixed menu. They are looking for a permanent place in Murfreesboro. A great date night bistro. I highly recommend it!

The best dining experience in Murfreesboro and maybe even Nashville. The ambiance is great. The staff is great. The food will tickle your taste buds. The menu is different every month so make sure to reserve on opentable because they only have two dates available in May.
