We stopped here for a beer and some water on a hot day on the way through MO to St. Louis.
We walked in and were welcomed with a friendly, “Welcome to The Loose Brick!” Really…the friendly bartender literally said that…it was like something people should say, but nobody does.
It was 5:30 pm and the bar was already busy. We sat at the patio. Plenty of smokers inside.
This is such a friendly local bar, everyone should stop here for a round of pool and some beers….but know that they allow smoking in the bar and people are definitely smoking here.

This is the kind of place I love. Just a local hangout. Beer was cold. Onion rings were very good. Also had an order of wings. Everyone was friendly. Will stop in again when I’m in the area. Prices are very reasonable. Bar staff was friendly.

It seems like a nice little place. We went for their Taco special on a Tuesday night. Te service was quick and friendly. The tacos were OK but nothing great. Unfortunately, I think their drinks all come from the bar well and I’m pretty sure the tapper could use a good cleaning. My diet soda was horrible and no one asked.
All in all for a small town bar I would say that it’s probably good that they don’t have any competition.

Ordered the cheese burger, it is good, better than Shelbina Family. The seafood platter is filling and delicious. Parmesan garlic wings are better than the ones you get at Little Caesar’s. The sidewinders are good and the home made potato chips are very good. Good portions on everything ordered. Highly recommend trying this place.

Had a wonderful meal here with my Aunt and Uncle. I had a HUGE pork fritter tenderloin and a Corona beer. My wife had a chef salad, my Aunt had a hamburger, and my Uncle had the catfish basket and a draft beer. Everyone loved their meals.

The food took a long time getting to us and then it wasn’t fit to eat. The chicken was so over cooked it was dry with almost burnt skin. The mashed potatoes were good. We were supposed to get a roll but gave us garlic bread that wasn’t good. I won’t be going back.

The best thing I can say is the waitress we had was very friendly, food was undercooked, she asked how they were and when I told her she just apologized. No offer to try again or change them or a break on the cost. They do have good pool sticks.
