Pretty disappointing. Tried a cinnaroll latte and berry oatmeal. The latte was terrible ’cause whatever syrups they use don’t actually mix into coffee well at all. Oatmeal was very mushy and seemed to not be that fresh, but anyway, I like to focus on the positives. Atmosphere was cool with the leaves/lights hanging overhead and staff was very friendly. I wouldn’t return though.

Not sure atmosphere can compensate for waiting so long. I get why they prioritize decor, friendly staff, and good music, cuz you’re gonna spend at least 30 minutes waiting for whatever you order. Granola in bowls is totally Nature Valley granola lol someone else posted. Just go to Bare Blends, cheaper and better quality bowls. Oh, last, reading the responses to bad reviews from Fruit Loop is very entertaining if you get bored waiting for your food.

I had to get takeout since I was on my way to the airport, but I wish I could’ve stayed the atmosphere was fresh and clean and inviting, and I would’ve loved to stay and enjoy it. I got the loaded avo toast with feta cheese, tomatoes, and red chili. Delicious.

Stopped here for the nutty monkey and it was one of the best smoothie bowls ever. Such a great combo of taste, consistency, and blend of ingredients. Must stop!

P.S. – the women working were phenomenal. One of them wished a good day by name on the way out. So personable. Kudos to this team!

Cute place. Clean and bright with greenery. The staff is super attentive and quite friendly. The music is a tad bit loud. They don’t have decaf coffee beans to make your beverages so it is full caffeine or nothing. The cold brew was smooth. I like that they make some drinks with coconut water.

Update: wow, what a classless response from an owner. It’s odd how you can say what happened when you were not there. Your response clearly shows your employees made a mistake, I ordered the “stacked” and tried to add an egg, the manager refused. My wife ordered the Pesto and tried to add an egg, also was refused. Sounds like your employees lied to you about the interaction and you come here and attack us for leaving a 1 star review. If my review doesn’t deter other customers, surely your ridiculous response will, it’s no wonder the place was empty and yet Qamaria next door was completely full.

Very confusing experience. I ordered the Savory Toast “Stacked” and asked to add an egg. The menu at the counter clearly shows that add-ons are available for this item and specifically lists eggs for $2. However, the cashier told me that adding an egg wasn’t allowed. I asked if they could just serve the egg on the side instead, and she checked with the manager. The manager came over and said they still couldn’t do it and that it was a policy from ownership.
If that’s truly the policy, the menu should be updated because it currently suggests that eggs can be added. It was confusing and left me with a pretty odd impression. I won’t be back

Very nice and cozy. The bowls were delicious, the avocado toast was also delicious, but they give it to you with a box and if you eat in the cafe, the only option is to use a plastic knife and fork, it is very inconvenient, I would like to have plates and normal fork and knife. The coffee was very bad, but you can’t find good coffee outside of NYC, so overall I liked this place

Good coffee and cute atmosphere, but their plants have a bad mealy bug infestation. Mealy bugs can hitchhike on clothes and end up being carried into your own home, so avoid touching anything if you have plants at home.

Further edit for accuracy:

Your response states that I had no interaction with the server, which is simply not true. I was the person who placed the order and spoke directly with your staff. So if anyone is presenting the situation inaccurately here, it would be you.

You also claim that your team offered “alternatives.” Those were options I did not want. As a customer, I’m allowed to decide what I do and do not want to order. If a restaurant cannot accommodate a simple request that was listed as an available add on, then naturally I’m going to choose not to eat there.

The comment about the “energy being spent over a single egg” is a bit ironic considering the length and tone of your responses. Like I mentioned before, reviews exist so customers can share their experiences, whether a business agrees with them or not.

I’m perfectly comfortable with letting this exchange remain exactly as it is. I think it speaks for itself. ❤️

To clarify this portion of your response — that’s exactly what reviews are for. Customers share their experience based on what happened during their visit.

We asked for a simple modification to our order, and when we were told it couldn’t be accommodated, we chose not to order. That ultimately meant the experience wasn’t great for us, which is why we left a review reflecting that.

Not every customer is going to value or enjoy the experience a business offers, and that’s okay. In our case, it simply wasn’t a great fit, which is why we’ve decided we won’t be returning.

Our review reflects our experience, and people reading this exchange can form their own opinion.

Update in response to “owner”
I’m honestly disappointed by this response because it misrepresents what actually happened.

First, I did place my own order. I simply asked if an egg could be added to the toast, and when I was told it couldn’t be added on top, I asked if it could be placed on the side instead. That request was also refused, even though eggs were clearly available and listed as add ons.

My husband also placed his own separate order, so the statement that only he attempted to order is inaccurate.

At no point were we rude to staff. We asked a simple question about modifying an order, which is a very common request at most restaurants. Instead of trying to help or offering a reasonable solution, the interaction became unnecessarily dismissive.

What’s most surprising is the tone of this response. Rather than addressing the concern respectfully, the owner chose to publicly accuse customers of behavior that simply didn’t happen and even comment on my review history, which feels inappropriate and unprofessional.

A simple response like “we’re sorry you had that experience” would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this reply only reinforced why we felt compelled to leave an honest review in the first place.

Very disappointing experience. They offer toast with different add-ons on their menu, yet when I asked to add an egg to my toast or even purchase an egg on the side they refused. It made no sense because it’s clearly something they offer as part of other items.

The lack of flexibility and willingness to accommodate such a simple request was frustrating. When a restaurant advertises add-ons, customers should actually be able to order them. Unfortunately, the service made the experience feel unnecessarily difficult.

I won’t be returning.

I don’t hand out five-star reviews lightly, but this smoothie bowl shop absolutely earned it. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and the refreshing scent of tropical fruits and amazing coffee! The space was clean, bright, and inviting — a perfect match for the vibrant and trendy menu.I ordered the works smoothie bowl, and it was nothing short of stunning. The base was perfectly blended — thick, creamy, and icy cold without being too frozen. The flavor was a delicious medley of açaí , berries , and banana, with just the right amount of natural sweetness (no sugary aftertaste!).What really set it apart were the toppings. Generous slices of banana, strawberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, crunchy granola, and a scoop of almond butter for texture and balance. Everything was fresh — no wilted fruit or soggy granola here. The Portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was beautifully presented. You can tell they care about both quality and aesthetics. If you’re looking for a healthy, delicious, and Instagram-worthy treat, this place is a must-visit. Whether you’re a smoothie bowl veteran or trying one for the first time, this shop will blow you away. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
