As a small business owner myself I hesitate to leave bad reviews but I feel this one needs to be left…
We stopped because my kids wanted Taco Bell and this was right next to it and the reviews were great. It’s definitely a little burger joint inside of a gas station. Only 1 guy was waiting for his food so we figured it would be fairly quick. WRONG. My parents ordered 2 burgers and fries (didn’t even get their order correct) and my husband ordered the Philly cheese with onion rings and I ordered a gyro, with fries. We literally waited 56 minutes for our food. There wasn’t really anywhere to sit. My kids were beyond done waiting. We found a cockroach crawling around in the hats we were trying on (only feet away from the kitchen). We found out, while we were waiting for an hour, that the place has recently been sold. One lady, who was a regular there, was told the grill was closed when she walked in at 7:15 and she wanted to talk to the “old guy” and find out why… well he’s no longer there. She said he had amazing food and pushed it out fast. When she left she said it was probably her last time ever coming. My parents’ burgers were fine (other than not being made right) and the Philly was ok (lacked filing, but tasted fine) and my gyro was unlike any I’ve ever had. No cucumbers and barely any sauce. I asked for extra white sauce cause it’s my favorite part and it was basically just cream cheese. It also had fresh green peppers on it for some reason, and grilled onions. It tasted more like a Philly without the cheese than a gyro. Sad to see what was probably a good place become like this, but we’ll never be back. Good luck!

MAN! I should have gotten the owner’s/chef’s name to give my proper appreciation and respect! He came down from Tennessee and is blessing east Texas with some of the best cheesesteak and fries I have ever had!

I personally come from Philadelphia, I make it a mission to try any cheesesteak I come across to potentially get a taste of nostalgia. THIS! THIS place hit the spot, yall! They also carry Faygo and other drinks you don’t see too often.

I wish I had taken pictures before we started eating, but I don’t usually post reviews, so I didn’t even think about it. Bf ordered a DBL plain(so basically a plain double meat burger) and I ordered a lamb gyro. We both got fry and drink combos. Our meals were just under 10 dollars each.
He said his burger was great and it is the first time he can think of where he was worried by looking at his bun, it would be burnt or hard but it was perfect. His “necessary” complaint was 1 onion on his bun.
My gyro was also delicious, good ratio of meat to veggies to sauce. Pita was perfect, ever so slight crisp on the outside and so light and fluffy inside. Veggies all tasted fresh. My “necessary” complaint was that the onion was slightly too caramelized for my taste.
Our combos came with essentially a medium-sized drink and extra large fries. Fries were generously seasoned. Drink machine could use more choices.
Friendly clerk. Oh yeah, this is a gas station! Now what I expected from previous reviews even though there was clearly a picture I just didn’t scroll that far through the pictures. Random variety of products as well as sitting store fun, HOWEVER, that is why atmosphere is not a 5 star. Wouldn’t have minded sitting down to eat but fine taking it out. Other atmospheric complaint was that a gentleman walked in for sitting fun and politely asked ne to move so he could sit as i was standing by the drink machine, but he had his pocket knife in his hand (it was closed but why?).
All in all still a great experience and would definitely get food from here again.

Our gyros were delicious and so very full of meat and veggies. Fresh crunchy onion rings and great jalapeno poppers. The staff is friendly and prompt in getting your order together. The prices are more than reasonable and the food options are better than any fast food establishments around. Will definitely be coming back!

In town for the night, decided to check this place out as the reviews were great. Reviews weren’t wrong! Got it to go, and it was still piping hot by the time we reached the hotel. Fries were great, philly cheesesteak was wonderful and the hamburger was amazing (& huge!!) for an unsuspecting place (normally wouldn’t get food at a gas station/food mart type of place) – it’s a definite must!

They are very nice and friendly. Very helpful. The food is superb. I notated the location so the next time I’m in TX we can stop on our way out again. Even the customers are friendly. You can tell they are loved. She knew everyone that came in while we were waiting for our food. Knew them on a personal level to know what’s going on in their lives and was genuinely concerned about their wellbeing. I got the turkey sandwich, my cousin got the hamburger. We were both impressed. Even after it sat for a while, while we were on the road. It was still good after it cooled down. Will absolutely visit again.
