A quaint diner that I visited passing through town full the parking lot and drive thru full of locals. They have a breakfast bar with all the Home-style Southern favorites that you crave. Pricing was by item (but with no signs or exact measurements for a portion) and you fill up a take out box or a plate to eat in the dining area (with seats/tables available despite a full parking lot).

I found myself in Gainesville, Ga on business and looking for a nice southern breakfast place. Longstreet Cafe is just that. At first glance it looks like a buffet but it’s a cafeteria. Everything is a La cart. I got a really hearty breakfast for about $12 and it was worth it! I need to find a reason to go back to Gainesville

I give this place two stars today because the food quality has gone way down since a couple years ago when I use to come here. Today you can expect a biscuit within the second you pull up to the window which has been sitting for who knows how long waiting to be ordered. My biscuits are barely hot and don’t taste at all like they use to. Hopefully they get better but for now I’m going to burger king or DQ

Bought some bacon egg sandwiches and mind you I was headed to work . Got to work and the eggs had plastic in them. Plastic got cooked with the eggs. SMH was not what I was wanting. And the customer service at the window he was rude like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. But idk anymore about this place.

The drive thru needs to listen to the customers. I ordered a scrambled egg with cheese, sausage on toast with extra mayo and I got a fried egg. Don’t do friend eggs at a restaurant Bc they are always rubbery. I guess I will stick with Jay Lou’s for breakfast
