I always come to the drive thru for a tenderloin egg and cheese biscuits and a egg and cheese biscuits and a large sweet tea. The last 3 or 4 times I have been there the sweet tea tastes like someone is putting polo mens cologne in the tea. It’s very nasty. I have been eating here since they open and never at either place has ever tasted like that. I hope they can resolve this issue. I’m not sure about the Longstreet cafe off Cleveland hwy but the one behind the burger king across from the old Big lots shopping center their tea is very nasty. I have no complaints about this food are employees. They are always Greeting you at the window and always smiling. But that tea is nasty. Please fix the issues.

A quaint diner that I visited passing through town full the parking lot and drive thru full of locals. They have a breakfast bar with all the Home-style Southern favorites that you crave. Pricing was by item (but with no signs or exact measurements for a portion) and you fill up a take out box or a plate to eat in the dining area (with seats/tables available despite a full parking lot).
The breakfast gravy was scrumdiddlyumptious and the food wasn’t too greasy or salty either for a heavy meal.
I spent a little over $10 with a coffee for my meal. I would definitely recommend this place if you like a home cooked breakfast.

Not the most modern restaurant on the inside, but the breakfast buffet is well worth your trip. I had a biscuit, cheese grits, two breakfast meats, and water for $9. Biscuits are crunchy on the outside and light and tender inside.

I came through drive thru at 5 am. I started to order and I asked for a soft chicken biscuit and the guy stopped talking to me. I sat there for 10 mins and drove around. Got to the window and the guy was rude and disrespectful. He said I didnt take your order and I tried to give it to him and he refused told me to drive back around and I told him no because you left me waiting on speaker and never came back. I asked his name which he said Sergio and I asked when will the owner be there and he told me there was no manager which I know is A lie because I talk to him every time I go there. This guy doesn’t need to be on drive thru with that attitude and disrespect!!!! Guess thats the last time I won’t go back with a person being like that at 5 am.

The original location is outstanding. This location should shut down. It is consistently bad food, which is not what Longstreet is known for. I took 2 bites of my most recent meal there and walked out with it on the table. Truly nasty stuff…

I wasn’t sure about a buffet but the food was outstanding and the price was really good! The biscuits arre very fluffy and good. The fried chicken is super flavorful. I recommend it for a quick stop for breakfast!

I found myself in Gainesville, Ga on business and looking for a nice southern breakfast place. Longstreet Cafe is just that. At first glance it looks like a buffet but it’s a cafeteria. Everything is a La cart. I got a really hearty breakfast for about $12 and it was worth it! I need to find a reason to go back to Gainesville

I eat here about once a week. Consistently good and fun people that work here. Good country cooking.
