What a vibe! This place blends history and cozy café & coffee house perfectly. The staff is very friendly, the food excellent (and very reasonably priced), and atmosphere is cozy while allowing for ample space for patrons.
I’m happy they chose a historic train station for the business location thus saving the structure. It was very cool to see.
Definitely worth popping in for cuppa or a bite to eat. Will return.

Really enjoy the coffee here! They roast their own beans every month and have those dates listed on their bags so you can make sure they’re fresh, and have several different types and seasonal varieties so there’s always something new if you want to try them out.
Inside of the coffee shop is Clara B’s and between the two they have fantastic coffee, pastry options, and brunch foods. Definitely reccomend for a nice coffee and brunch. Love going back here every now and then and also grabbing some coffee Saturday mornings when their stall is at the vine street market. Great baristas!

Cool coffee spot in Bellville IL. Had the house coffee and a slice of apple pie, both were wonderful. The coffee was smooth, and the pie tasted like grandma’s. The server was courteous and professional.

All staff are so kind. The owner is always working by with his staff and taking care of guests. Coffee is really good along with the food. We only buy our beans from here due being one of the few places to offer high quality, wide variety, and freshness.

Bizzy buzzy coffee shop in an old train station depot. Very Midwest rustic. Making Wilco great again

Getting into the parking lot was a little confusing since it was our first time. However, the coffee was wonderful, staff were lovely, and the Navas bread was delicious. We will returning sometime to try their actual dining experience and food. Everything smelled wonderful! I do wish they would have kept more of the architectural details of the old train station. Still a wonderful experience.

An absolute gem in Belleville! I had their matcha latte and house made cookie, both of which I recommend. My mom ordered coffee and I liked that it came in a tray with a cup of milk and a small carafe so it was easy to customize to one’s liking. They offer a lot of options with tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, breakfast items, and baked goods—anyone who stops by could find something to enjoy! There’s also plenty of seating for either a solo visit or to meet up for coffee. This was my first time in the area, and LongStory Coffee feels like one of those places made by the community for the community. I loved how welcoming, charming, and comfy this coffee shop was!

The food and coffee here are amazing! The grilled cheese is my favorite, but everything is SO GOOD. I am on a mission to bring everyone I know to Longstory at least once, and I never miss a Sunday morning there if I can help it. The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are friendly, and the food and coffee always bring me joy.

I’ve visited this location a few times and it’s always hectic when we go. During busy hours its difficult to find seating, the tables are so close together it makes it difficult to walk through the space. It’s a beautiful building with a vibrant atmosphere. You can still have a good conversation with the noise and I always see people working remote or enjoying a good book.
The coffee and service are always great with discounts advertised for different days of the week. I like to get a hot latte with toasted marshmallow flavor added. My husband likes to get their hot pour over or latte and always leaves with a 32 oz drink to take back home. During our last visit it we ordered for dine in, but quickly changed to to go since it was so crowded. We ordered food from Clara B’s and only found seating after our food came out. We got a spot at the counter along the windows and ate from our to go containers but left quickly so others could have seating. Other people had no rush even after their coffee or meal was over, enjoying the space. Definitely arrive later in the day versus their peak hours.
There have been time where we got pushed out of our space in line to order because the line was so long and there’s no properly laid out foot traffic for the ordering counters. The lines go into the seating space in between tables which makes it awkward for the already crowded space. I’ve seen people standing up to eat because others won’t get up to leave. Their side entrance closest to the kitchen has the original steps from when it was a train station, but there is no signage saying it’s a steep drop. There is not enough room when stepping out, my husband almost fell backwards because he did not know there was no landing space.
