Longshots Billiards in Charles Town is such a great spot — easily one of the most fun and welcoming places around. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, making it the perfect place to shoot pool, grab a drink, and hang out with friends.
Matte, the owner, is awesome — genuinely friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about creating a place where everyone feels at home. You can tell he’s built something special here, and it shows in the vibe, the service, and the crowd it attracts.

Hubby and I went to have lunch and play pool. They have several tables. Place is clean, food is great… we got wings and pretzels. Great family pub feel.

Wasn’t able to try the food, although the gentleman next to my was eating wings and they looked normal and smelled of vinegar drowned sauce hot. The happy hour drinks specials are stellar! A domestic and a vodka soda(small) we’re $5.50!!! This place is pretty big with approximately 4 or 5 pool tables. It smelled of fried food in the air.

I was able to sit on their back patio with my dog. The woman who took care of us was awesome and the food was great! Had the ribeye and sweet potato fires, no sugar and cinnamon, and both me and my dog loved it all. Some locals were out there and made for great company. Highly recommend this place for a casual, bar experience. Will be back next time I’m in the area!

If you like pool this is the place to go. Food was good for bar food. Not a place to take the family for lunch but good for adults…as it is bar some patrons were a little loud but service was great.

This was a really good dive bar, went there for the Wednesday 1/2 price wings. This is also karaoke night and they had a pretty good turnout. Keep in mind smoking is allowed inside, it wasn’t a big deal for me because that’s how bars used to be back in the day; and almost everyone here smoked.
Rented a pool table @ $10 an hour and drinks were super cheap. Basically 10 delicious wings and 2 beers for $12. They have a unique brew 420, should have known better but it is infused. This place might not be for everyone but I Iove wings and they were delicious.

Was out of town, my car broke down, needed a shot and beer after my buddy and I followed the tow truck to some shady garage on a sweltering hot Thursday night. Longshots was open and absolutely hit the spot. Down and dirty American pool hall. Cold draughts, hefty shots. Beautiful.

Another bar in area with huge potential. Owners are awesome as people. The food is excellent for bar food especially the tenders. Prices pretty good. Some bartenders love what they do some need to remember they’re in the people business. Not rude. Just blah. With better advertising and investment in some high top tables even just around the bar area, they’d kill it. Busiest night lately is karaoke Wednesday which is hosted by an absolute pro (for this area). Pool league Mondays is busy as well. They are the only true pool hall in county that I know of. Great outdoor patio for area as well.
