Prices are wonderfully reasonable, biggest selection of pub games around, simply creating an active fun social atmosphere for fun. The parking lot out front is huge and plenty of light. What makes this place better than most is the spacious, clean, bathrooms. The grill provides great food with meat options that can satisfy. Out performing most other places with quality, pricing, and options.

Really was looking for a good experience at this bar since I was looking for pool bar and just a hangout spot. Service wise got the bartender Brandi and wasn’t so pleasant would not come back. Only had one beer. My husband had to wait for a while to get another beer it wasn’t even that busy like 8 or 9 people. Very selective on who she paid attention to more. I get it, its your regulars but not once check if food was okay or we needed anything else. Had to wait to close out after we asked multiple times. I would have wanted to stay longer, but highly recommend the Ruben rolls .

Went there for the first time. The food is just regular bar food. Drinks were good. I loved the wibe and the atmosphere. The pool tables had long waiting times, so we didn’t play. I like that they open till after midnight. Will definitely start going to Longshots more.

Disappointing and Disheartening Experience at Longshots Bar and Grill
I am deeply disappointed and outraged by my recent experience at Longshots Bar and Grill in Julia, Illinois. As a disabled individual who relies on a registered service animal, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect — unfortunately, that was not the case here.
The owner,
I believe it’s name was Raymond, and it’s staff unlawfully denied me entry simply because I was accompanied by my service animal. This blatant violation of my civil rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is unacceptable and deeply disconcerting. Service animals are not pets—they are essential for my safety and independence.
Furthermore, I was appalled to discover that none of the bathrooms are handicap accessible. This blatant disregard for accessibility shows a complete lack of respect and consideration for disabled patrons, and it reflects a disturbing attitude towards those with disabilities. It’s clear that Longshots Bar and Grill has a blatant disrespect for individuals who are differently-abled, and this kind of discrimination has no place in our community.
I strongly urge the management to educate themselves on the legal rights of disabled patrons, to improve accessibility, and to treat everyone with the dignity they deserve. Discrimination and neglect like this not only harm individuals like myself but also perpetuate ignorance and prejudice.
I sincerely hope that the management takes this matter seriously and makes the necessary changes to ensure no other disabled person faces similar treatment. Everyone deserves equal access, respect, and dignity, regardless of their disabilities or the presence of a service animal.
