⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grand Opening Home Run at Long House !!
I had the chance to visit Long House tonight for their grand re-opening at their newly remodeled space at ilani Resort & Casino, and wow—this place absolutely delivered.
From the moment we walked in, the experience felt special. The restaurant has been completely transformed, with stunning décor and a sleek black-and-red theme that feels modern, stylish, and welcoming all at once.
The menu really impressed me with its variety, offering a wide range of Asian dishes and something for everyone. We ordered the pork dumplings, pork shumai, beef and broccoli, seafood lo mein, and the char siu ribs—and every single dish was fantastic. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The char siu ribs were a standout, and the dumplings and shumai were perfectly done.
Service was excellent as well—our server Teale was attentive, friendly, and made the whole evening even more enjoyable.
Between the food, the service, and the gorgeous new space, Long House is already a must-visit. We had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back soon.

The service is terrible. To begin with, there’s a woman at the entrance who told us we needed a reservation, even though the restaurant was empty. There were many empty tables, and when I told her it was empty, she responded with an angry and rude expression, saying she was going to call the supposed reservation holders. I let my reservation time pass and stood outside watching, but I never saw her call anyone, and the same empty tables remained. This is unacceptable. They shouldn’t have that kind of person at the entrance. I also work at a restaurant in Oregon, and I know how things work there. I’ve been a regular customer at this restaurant for a long time, and I loved the food, but after this experience, I’ll never eat here again. Second, when we finally got a table, they made us wait an incredibly long time, and now the prices have doubled. The waitress only came to take our order and then left. She gave us water, and when I asked for an alcoholic drink, it never arrived. After waiting so long for our food, she never came back to give us any more water, the serve look scary the nameis MELANIE, sorry bad service. I honestly thought it would be a good idea to try the new restaurant, but I’ve been very disappointed. The service was terrible, and they’re completely disorganized. Everyone seemed unfriendly to the customers. I will never eat here again.

Had an amazing experience at The Long House! Both the sushi and the miso soup were absolutely delicious. Vee, our waitress, was outstanding—professional, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond. She made sure we had everything we needed, from hot drinks to extra ginger and wasabi. Truly lovely service that made the meal even better. Highly recommend!

The restaurant is newly remodeled and offers a pleasant atmosphere, though the view is fairly limited. The food was average, particularly given the higher price point, and the timing of the service could be improved. During our visit around 3pm, with only a few tables occupied, dishes took approximately 30 minutes to an hour to arrive. If you have extra gambling points to use and aren’t in a rush, it may be worth trying once. However, it’s not a place I would personally prioritize visiting again.

I dont even think that Amazing is enough for this place. Great food, service, attention to detail! Everyone introduced themselves. It feels like they really care! I can’t wait until the new location is open

We dined at the “renewed” Longhouse a few nights ago, our very first experience at this restaurant. They are still working out some kinks in the kitchen as far as timeliness of food being prepared and served but overall we were very satisfied with the entrees we ordered (Orange chicken, Seafood Lo Mein, Thai Pineapple shrimp fried rice). We do feel their prices are very high for the serving size but the fact that they were delicious eased the sticker shock somewhat. We did gasp at the final check, however. We asked for a pot of tea, which was served in a heavy pot atop a warming block. Wasn’t a huge pot by any means but enough for 2 small cups each. This pot of tea cost $12.00!! Nowhere on the menu did we find tea or the cost, we should have asked before ordering it. If the menu prices were a tad less expensive or the portions larger for that cost, we would have given 5 stars. Our total cost for 2 people before gratuity was $98.00, way more than we normally spend for a dinner out. Service was very good as well.

Longhouse did a reopen recently and it’s been downhill from there. Came in waited for 15 minutes just to get a water. Lady at the front said my waiter’s name is Tracy. After I got my water I was ready to order and she left quickly. The restaurant was not busy maybe about less than a third full. Then I saw someone get seated and they took their order immediately. I was sitting there for 20 minutes now ready to order. Instead I walked out. Wasted my time.
They also don’t do to-go orders. Even if the restaurant is open and no one is dining in. Maybe they don’t have enough staffing. Prices have gone up tremendously. Hopefully it gets better.

Tucked inside the casino like a delicious little secret, this sushi spot is pure magic. The rolls are fresh and flavorful (that eel roll? divine). They are BIG in size. The presentation is a total showstopper, just look at that cocktail crowned with an orchid! It’s giving luxury, it’s giving taste, it’s giving I’m coming back. A lucky little jackpot for your taste buds.

I was at Ilani Casino last night and we were hungry. We saw a sushi restaurant and decided to give it a try. That was a huge mistake!
We ordered noodles and five sushi rolls. The noodles arrived very quickly, but they came as some kind of strange soup — and not a good one. After that, we waited 50 minutes for the sushi rolls! (And the restaurant was almost empty.)
During the entire wait, not a single server or staff member made eye contact with us or came by to check if everything was okay, or to at least let us know the food was delayed.
After fifty minutes of waiting and asking twice for an update, we finally received the so-called “sushi.” The rolls were as thick as a 1.5-liter bottle, just an insane amount of rice compared to the tiny amount of filling inside. We honestly couldn’t even eat it!
We immediately asked for the check — with all five rolls still completely untouched — and nobody bothered to ask why or try to make things right. We paid full price and just ran out of there.
Do NOT go there!!

We ordered the yakisoba and the Tonkasu Ramen and the Korean BBQ tempura flake chicken wings.
The Yakisoba had an excellent mix of vegetables with the sliced beef and the ramen noodles were al dente in just the right way — double thumbs up from my father who ate a lot of it and we all agreed that the Ramen noodles were better than the typical thicker udon noodles that are traditionally used.
The Tonkasu Ramen which was pork belly soft boiled egg, fish cake, mustard greens kikurage mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms was very satisfying! We were really impressed with the mushroom portions as well as how perfectly the mustard greens were done, not overcooked.
The Korean barbecue wings got a thumbs up from the Koreans at the table. The outer crispy skin was exceptional. And the flavoring was rich and sweet as was expected from glazed chicken wings.
Amanda and Rattey were great servers!
