It was terrible.. poor customer service. Steak was not done as well as we asked for. We had to keep asking over and over for the same stuff we wanted and still not receiving it, we finally just gave up and took home to. Eat the was not even busy for 100 dollars it should have been better !! We won’t be back ! We have dinner with steak and shrimp add salad and we also have an appetizer , as well as desserts .

The restaurant has less light than most places, maybe trying to appear more haughty? There was no music in the dining area either, but you can at least hear some music from the kitchen in-between the staff yelling at each other.
The seven onion rings as a $5 appetizer was a decent temperature, but that’s the only good thing I can say about the meal. The “house salad” was just older, tip burned lettuce, definitely from a bag and the ranch seemed watered down. The “warm, home made” dinner roll was neither warm nor home made. I ordered a lemonade since the water was so bad (the water in this whole area is bad, so it’s not just them) but it was so sweet I couldn’t taste any lemon.
Since this is a steakhouse, we of course ordered steaks. That was the worst rib eye I have ever had in my life! 16 ounces, yet almost half of mine was fat, and a third of my friend’s was. I ordered rare, he ordered medium rare yet both came out medium and cool to the touch. Only the outermost part was red, the middle was brown which means either these were boiled before being seared, or they were precooked. Considering the steaks came out nearly as quickly as the appetizer, I’m guessing the latter.
I’m not one for wasting money, especially not $30 freaking dollars, but I could not bring myself to finish the meat. Oh and I’ve had better mashed potatoes from a box. The server was the only good thing about the meal, but shall remain nameless because I don’t want this review taken out on them.

Honest review. Driving by decided to try this place, no hello no smile as I ask for my pick up order. Ordered chili cheese fries and got no chili plus no salt at all on fries. Also got charges a 2$ custom mistery charge I didn’t catch till i left. They Gauk at receipt to see if you leave tip like you have to earn that no just cause I ordered over the phone. Simple smile and hello would be sufficient

Prompt and friendly service. Family friendly. Great prices. I got the “heart healthy” 8oz sirloin with broccoli and a side salad. Not only was it cooked a perfect medium rare and delicious but it was by far the most tender sirloin I have ever had. So good ate here 3 times the week I was in town!

Ate here twice while visiting family. Dinner was great with steak and shrimp perfectly cooked. Bread was also very good. Breakfast was also excellent with very nice servers. It does get quite busy but moves along fast enough so you aren’t waiting forever

I do not I repeat do not recommend g&j longhorn steakhouse,go to Subway .
We waited for our food for approximately 1 hr only to get cold food,drinks were flat,it is a place for regulars and I get that we are from a small town as well…..
When confronted about cold food and over half of a 24.00 steak left on plate we had an audience from the kitchen.The waitress said they are sorry when asked to speak to mgr was told that’s just the way they are but when you have no competition you can set your standard lower.
But don’t worry never again for us sorry for the long rant…

Food came out rather quick however a third of my steak was pure fat. My salad was brown. I have never had a steak that was a rubbery consistency. My steak did come with grill marks however my fat had zero seer. Considering this is a steakhouse, I assumed that they would be able to make a steak. My dinner roll definitely came from a bag. The ranch was definitely more watery. It blows my mind that this place gets a four star review. Definitely keep your expectations low and you will not be disappointed. Staff was friendly however we could hear fighting going on in the kitchen about “they knew this would happen” i’m assuming somebody called off work let’s just hope it was the cook because I could never expect myself to go back to such a low quality restaurant for the price.
