This is a value steakhouse. With respect to the food, when they cook it well, the value proposition is fantastic. Consistency on food quality is a bit variable here, so be ready to roll the dice.
The service has always been on the slower side. Sitting at the tables or the bar does NOT make a difference. They appear to be consistently understaffed.
For today, we came in and decided we wanted to sit at the bar. There was availability of seats, but the (only) bartender was in no rush to clear the scene from the last patrons who had their card swiped 20 minutes before we arrived (receipt). A man was waiting for a carryout order, and the look of exasperation on his face told a story along the lines of “Officer, am I free to go?”
Lastly, after waiting for about 5 minutes in front of the seats we wanted, we weren’t even acknowledged. We took one look straight down the row of bar seating right into the kitchen, and we were treated to the beautiful sight of an overflowing trash can waterfall. If that’s what you CAN see, imagine what you CANNOT see.
That sealed the deal tonight, and we left for another restaurant.
When we were first seated, the waitress came to take our drink order. We told her what we would like, and she walked away without any issue. When our drinks arrived, she placed them on the opposite side of the table and walked off, forcing us to reach across the table to grab them.
We then waited about 10–15 minutes before she returned to ask if we were ready to order. Once we ordered, our salads were brought out, but one of them was tilted as it was placed on the table and several croutons fell into my lap. While I understand accidents happen, there was no apology before she walked away.
About 20 minutes later she briefly stopped by to say she was going to check on our food. When our meals finally arrived, both steaks were cold. The sirloin I ordered was extremely tough and dry—I almost choked trying to eat it. My husband ordered a filet mignon cooked medium, but it came out nearly well done. We waited for the waitress to return so we could address the issue, but she never came back to our table.
Eventually, my husband and I had to walk to the front to find a manager so we could pay and leave. The manager took our card and went to the back to locate the waitress. We were never shown our bill before the card was charged, and it appeared that we may have been overcharged.
Overall, this was a very frustrating dining experience. We will not be returning to this location. It seems like new management and better staff training are needed.
If you get a chance, stop in and see my guy Duriel. I’m hoping next time his daughter’s soccer team is performing alittle better. Regardless, Duriel is a fantastic host and takes great care of his customers, which I truly appreciate.

We were initially seated directly next to the restroom. Within minutes, we were overwhelmed by the smell of fecal matter coming from the bathroom. It was so bad that we immediately requested to be moved. While we were eventually reseated, that was only the beginning of the nightmare.
From the moment we sat down, it took over an hour and a half to receive our food. Not 30 minutes. Not 45. A full 90+ minutes. And when the food finally arrived? It was cold. Completely cold as if it had been sitting out long before it ever made it to our table.
The service was beyond unacceptable. We ordered water and never received it. Our alcoholic drinks were delayed and incorrect. Our waiter repeatedly messed up our order. I even ordered a salad and never received it at all. We constantly had to flag him down just to ask about our food, remind him about our drinks, and correct mistakes that should never have happened in the first place.
It felt like we were begging for basic service.
When I brought these concerns to the manager, I expected accountability or at least an attempt to make things right. Instead, there was no real solution offered, no meaningful effort to compensate for the extremely poor experience. It felt dismissive and unprofessional.
As a content creator, I do not take posting negative reviews lightly. But this experience was so disheartening and disappointing that I felt obligated to share it. I have posted about this on my TikTok and Instagram to make others aware.
I would absolutely NOT recommend dining here. The service was chaotic, inattentive, and completely unacceptable.
Be aware.
