Finally got around to dining in at this location this past early March after wandering the mall (Old Orchard not Lincolnwood) and was a pleasant first experience here.
At the time this marked only the 3rd location I’ve been to and quite possibly the busiest. Was around close to a 20 minute wait for a booth but this taste is worth it.
Among competitor steakhouses around the same price range, IMHO I feel that Longhorn is the best option over Outback, Texas Roadhouse and what used to be Lone Star.
Food came out hot & fresh and service was very welcoming & friendly in a clean and spacious dining area. Being located on the Skokie/ West Ridge border, I can see how this place remains bustling.
I live up in northeastern Lake Co in Beach Park but sadly we don’t have any Longhorn locations in the county. Happily a location did go up in far west Kenosha about a 20 minute drive north & west from home.
I enjoy the food overall a bit better than the steakhouse rivals I mentioned earlier. One advantage I Iike about LH vs TR is that I can get a lobster tail along with any steak.
Good food at still reasonable prices and if ever in the area again, would definitely stop back at this location. Hope for several more years of continued boomin’ business for the owner(s).

Well worth it! I cook steaks regularly but I very much enjoyed the quality of the steaks here.
You get a complimentary side of warm, fresh-baked brown bread while you order, and the food comes out quickly and piping hot. The outlaw ribeye is definitely their best item, it comes out as this huge bone-in steak that seems almost bigger than their advertised 24oz. size. It has a great crust with visible grill marks and a rich smoky flavor from the char-grilling.
The sides were also great, with a simple but satisfying Caesar salad with a flavorful dressing and crisp lettuce, and a premium side of brussel sprouts roasted and tossed in a sweet and savory honey glaze. They complimented the steak nicely and rounded things out.
The bill at the end is a bit high, but I felt that it was definitely well worth it considering the variety of food items and their outstanding quality. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a great flavor and texture and the sides were fresh and flavorful, certainly more work than I’m willing to do at home even if I considered the potential price savings versus eating out.

The stuffed mushrooms were delightful, and the medium-rare steak was also quite enjoyable. The macaroni and cheese is a definite must-try, and I certainly plan to return here with friends.

Me and my wife came in on 2/12/26 like around 9:20pm. We had come from another restaurant cause the service was bad. Upon coming in there no worker was at the door to greet us, so we proceeded to go to the bar. The male bald bartender was helping us. We had told him about our night at the other place and asked for a certain shot that was out of stuck. This man checked my DL twice which is weird cause knowing procedures it should only be checked once. My wife did not have her ID but we had a picture he said he needed a physical one. So I ended up getting a shot of tequila. And my wife proceeded to take a shot. The bartender went irate saying no drink for you get out of here you guys got kicked out from the other place screaming. I get that the are protocols one must follow but that was uncalled for as a worker you should keep your cool no matter and screaming at a women is crazy, I work for public service and know that you need to keep your cool. This man I feel was racially profiling us cause like I stated he checked my DL twice . I’ve been to many long horns and bars and have only gotten checked once. I wish management could have done more but sadly they didn’t. Please avoid this place they are racist at the bar !!

Honestly not sure why I’m not going back here more! The prices are very reasonable and you get excellent portions and a pretty varied menu even for folks who may not like steak / beef.
The sides were quite nice and I really did enjoy eating here. I’d go back!

Update 8/10/2025: Our server today was Connor, and he was fantastic! Made the dinner experience extremely enjoyable, especially with my family. I remembered to take photos this time! We will continue to come to this location!

If you’re looking for quality steaks and seafood at a reasonable price, this is the place. It’s also located by the Lincolnwood mall, so you can shop away the day then grab some lunch/dinner on your way home.
The staff is very friendly and they can accommodate large parties, so bring everyone along.

Excellent place if you’re looking for beef. The steaks were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean, the lighting dim and relaxing, and the staff friendly. Even though it was almost the end of the night, our waitress was energetic and attentive to our needs.
