The food was pretty good and the service was great. Steak was cooked well and the drinks were good. I just didn’t like the atmosphere that much. Too many loose children running around and the decor isn’t that great.

Love Longhorn and we had particularly good service on New Year’s Eve, as we celebrated our dad’s 94th birthday. I ordered the parmesan crusted chicken, which makes chicken actually taste good! I always upgrade the side salad to the strawberry pecan salad, which may be the best side salad I have had anywhere (the side Caesar at DeJulio’s in Naples is a close second). It is an amazing salad with strawberries, oranges, pecans (I hold the feta) and I recommend it to everyone. I had a bake potato with butter and it was fresh. Sometimes at Longhorn – depending which one you’re at and the time – the bake potatoes are not fresh, but this one was good. My sister ordered the shrimp and steak and loved both. My brother loved the pork chops and they looked so good I could have eaten them and I do not like pork chops generally. Our oldest sister ordered the hamburger and said it was okay but I have never had a bad burger at Longorn. The bread was delicious as usual. The server brought our dad a really nice strawberry sundae for his birthday. Our whole family enjoyed the dinner. I highly recommend Longhorn and the Wixom one is very nice!

This was a decent place to go! I had a margarita and the spicy shrimp for an appetizer and it was delicious. The bread was good, the seeds were a bit off putting. My husbands steak came out lukewarm and undercooked, but they took it back and quickly cooked it more. His asparagus was super salty so they fixed that too. I’d suggest to season it at table.
I got steak that was yummy but not well seasoned. I loved my Brussels sprouts and sweet potato! My drink was good and strong too. The service was great. I’d go again. Ohhhh and get the stampede chocolate cake!!

Below-average experience at this location… I usually find most Longhorns to be good and consistent on food & service, and provide good value; these are main reasons I often pick this chain vs others. On this first visit to Wixom Rd, I ordered usual picks and couldn’t fault the soup or steak, both were very good and as expected. Side mushrooms were just ok, broccoli was almost raw and cold, too lightly steamed to my taste.
But, service was the main issue. I was by myself and in no rush. First came the soup, quickly and before the wine, then halfway through the soup the main course came, and still no wine in sight. Food was not brought to the table by the main server. I mentioned my dissatisfaction and rushing into this meal with lots of open tables, the server acknowledged this happens often especially with solo diners. Offered to take back the main course, but then what happens to it… Simply the same brought back later? Decided to keep it and then the wine arrived a few minutes later with apologies.
Considering I drove from Northville, I will pick another nearby location next time.

Service was 4 of 10. They crowed around the entrance doing nothing. . ordered a NY srltrip med rare… baked potato.. salad.. steak was over salted and didnt feel or taste like steak.. almost like it was pieced together had lots of ligaments .. had no inner taste like a real steak.. ..potatoe was over salted cheese was not the best.. baked potatoe was good.. salad was ok..baked bread with butter was good … priced little high.. may comeback to try once more..

Not sure what part of the meal made me Sick, but we ate there last night, it was literally the only thing I ate all day. and I’m sick this morning. my wife got a salad that did not smell or taste good she sent it back and the waitress/bartender didn’t take anything off the bill.. Guess what I will never visit a Longhorn restaurant again.

Great food and service. Always have good experience from this location, the servers are very nice and the steaks are prepared very well. I would recommend reserving a table ahead if you are party of 5 or more, even at non busy times it can take time to find a table. Also it would’ve been nice if the fries and apps had less salt, I will keep in mind to ask for low to no salt next time around, other than that all around a great place.
