Longhorn Steakhouse in Mentor is still top flight and a excellent place to dine for family and friends. A family member wanted to come here because of the great food and customer service. When was the last time you went to a restaurant and the customer leaving are telling you how great the food was.
Our server Melissa was just one of the best we’ve had in a long time plus Ann was friendly and greeted us when we first walk in.. The food was to our satisfaction and brought to our table in a timely manner and at the right temperature .

The outlaw ribeye was great, the appetizers and dessert ( chocolate stampede) , our server was attentive and the supervisor came twice to check on us.
The atmosphere was vibrant and little noisy regarding the weekend evening.

Other than having to send the one steak back, it was a great evening there. Everyone was great. Food was done wonderfully (full of flavor), cooked properly, and a lot of it. Server was wonderful too. She was busy, but still took good care of us.

The food was fresh and delicious. The burgers were cooked to perfection. They were juicy and tasted amazing. The toppings were proportioned well. The fried onion petals were crispy and hot. The waitress was very nice and professional. We were never lacking anything. We can’t eat out very often anymore so this was especially surprising.

The food was good to excellent, except for a way overdone Flos Filet, like how do you mess that up it’s a signature? And 2x, according to the manager yet I thinm it was never put in the first time. The stuffed shrooms were superb. James our server was super efficient albeit a tad abrupt. The issue: Stating wait is about 25 minutes numerous times. Saying you are 4th on the list when you are not. Saying there are no available tables when there are at least 7. And knowing full well that a disabled person has been standing with a walker for over 30 minutes yet ignoring that fact. I know there’s a process but decency should overrule. Also how in God’s name are there 5 spots for food pick up but only 2 handicapped spots. Come on, think it through.

I have always enjoyed the steaks at Longhorn restaurants here in Ohio and Michigan. This location did not disappoint when it comes to the flavor and precise preparation of their”Outlaw Ribeye”. My wife prefers seafood and we both love their Wild West Shrimp”!

Everyone is so nice and pleasant. The spinach dip and steakhouse mac n cheese are my favorite. I usually get the chopped steak as my entrée. I’ll be back next week as a matter of fact, lol. Try them for yourself if you haven’t. It’s clean, parking is ample and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Our son took us out to dinner here the other night and it was excellent! It was friday at 5:30 and the wait was less than 5 minutes. We ordered the Tonion and Spinach artichoke dip to start, two sirloins with the rock shrimp and then chocolate cake and shortcake for dessert. The portions were nicely sized and we had plenty of leftovers and everything was excellent. The best part was our server Zane W (I think that was the last name initial) was wonderful…efficient, professional, speedy and friendly. Thank you for a great dinner! We will be back!
