The food was very good as well. My daughter and son in law had been here not long ago and suggested it to us.
My steak was cooked as ordered and it was just overall a good experience.
We started off with tea drinks, they were extremely warm! They had ice in them, but it was really gross how warm it was. I couldn’t get over the warm taste. Then we ordered our food, we were served bread & butter which was a good filler before our dinner. The butter was not flavored, just regular butter, would have been better if it was honey butter or herb butter. We both ordered salads with our meals, but our salads were really small portions. (About the size of a Wendy’s small salad), a little disappointed. By that time, our food was ready & served. There was no napkins or condiments on the tables so I had to ask for napkins & at least ketchup for my fries, they did give us an adequate amount of napkins.
Our food…
My friend ordered a nice sized steak with fries, it looked really good, he said he really liked it. Everything was extremely over priced, so I just got a burger, which was also over-priced. My burger looked so good, but when I tasted it, it was the most bland tasting burger I ever ate! ☹ There was no seasoning or flavoring to my burger! There was also no sauce on it so I had to use the ketchup that I asked for to also put in my burger. The worst part was the toppings, there was definitely something wrong with the bacon! It was so hard it hurt my tooth, a chunk of it was super chewy that I couldn’t even eat it. Either it was over cooked, cooked in a microwave, or it went bad. Idk, but I had to spit it out. (I’ve cooked bacon plenty of times before but I’ve never had that problem, of course I’ve never microwaved bacon either, so maybe that’s why it was hard & chewy). The tomato was SO cold/frozen that it literally made my burger cold before I was able to eat it! The pickles were also cold, not cooked. The onion was cold & raw! A blast of onion taste was really gross, so intense, with the cold tomato . They really should have thawed the toppings & warmed the pickles & cooked the onion, & add seasoning. It was a horrible burger. I was really disappointed, especially how expensive it was. At least the fries were really good! Best fries I ever had, seasoned too! Even my friend loved the fries.
Overall, it’s a steak restaurant, I wouldn’t bother getting anything else other than steak & fries there. If I had known, I would have went to Texas Roadhouse instead.
