We loved the tasty, tender meat, and the crispy Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious. The beef burger was very tasty. The French fries, Soup and strawberry pecan salad were just as enjoyable. Before dinner, we were served a warm bun with plenty of butter — a perfect start to the meal.
We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great steakhouse experience.
Do Better.!!!!
Service: ATTITUDE! The most recent waitress had a huge attitude. We were nothing but nice. She brought the check in the middle of our dinner and we still wanted to order drinks, dessert , and I was still waiting on my new steak. She never asked if the check was going to be split or anything. We asked for the check to be split. Attitude! We asked for another drink for each of us. Attitude! My hus and actually paid the first check and she had to bring a new check for the 1 beer he ordered . He gave a $20 and she never brought back the change. She just told us to to have a good night and then left. No change and didn’t hear from her again. Needless to say she made about $40 in “tips” from us.
Atmosphere: smells kind of weird when entering the door. Like not really clean.
Once again, I used to love this place! I think it’ll be a long time before I think of returning .
I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I took my mom and grandma to LongHorn Steakhouse for dinner, hoping for a relaxing night. As a former service industry manager with over 10 years of experience, I’m very patient and understanding. I’m normally the one calming everyone down when things run behind, but this visit was beyond anything I could excuse.
Our server greeted us but never introduced herself. I brushed it off and placed our drink and appetizer order. About 20 minutes passed, and I politely asked her to check on the appetizer. No big deal, until 45 minutes later when she returned asking how everything was. I tried to explain that we still hadn’t received the appetizer, but she cut me off mid-sentence to say, “Don’t worry, your salads will be out momentarily.”
Ten minutes later, salads and entrées arrived but still no appetizer. I asked to speak with a manager, who took another 10 minutes to appear. When I explained everything, she said “okay” and disappeared into the kitchen. No apology, no accountability, no follow-up.
We finished our meals, still no appetizer. When the check came, it was still listed on the bill. When I pointed it out, the server asked, “Did you want me to take the appetizer off or did you want to pay for it?” At that point, I was speechless. She eventually removed it, but that was it. No discount, no guest recovery, nothing.
This wasn’t just a bad night. This was a clear failure in leadership. The managers were nowhere to be found on the floor, the communication was nonexistent, and the effort to recover a guest was zero. Even a simple update like, “Hey, the fry station’s running behind,” would have gone a long way.
And just to top it off, as we were leaving, the server asked me to fill out a review on her behalf right after I told her the experience was horrible. You can’t make this up.
For the record, I still tipped 15%, not because the service was good, but because I don’t believe in not tipping.
To management, this is a learning opportunity. Lead your team, support your staff, and take ownership when guests have valid concerns.
10 out of 10 do not recommend this location, but I do recommend a serious management meeting.
