I wish I could give them a better rating, but they have gone so far downhill it’s insane. They raise pricing every time you eat there only for the “premium sides” that you have to pay extra on top of the already expensive pricing to be inedible. The Mac n cheese for example they make it once every 4 days. I know this because they left the sell by date on it once during a to-go order. It’s always dry, and like they forgot the cheese. So you spend 3+ dollars on a “premium sides” that taste like burnt rubber. Look at the pictures, on what planet is this acceptable? And it’s not just once. I think I’ve had fresh Mac n cheese ONCE out of the last 20 times I’ve been. The baked potato’s are watery 8/10 times and you end up throwing them away. It’s just sad to see a steakhouse I used to hold in such high regard turn into the mess it is today. I’d recommend roadhouse at this point any time someone asks at least they are consistent with their food quality.

My husband and I went to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Owensboro, KY.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times. We usually eat at Longhorn Steakhouse for special occasions (Valentines Day, Wedding Anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Birthday).

Our server on February Friday the 13th at 8:20pm was Kya S.; she was very pleasant, courteous, helpful, etc. She explained in detail of the cooking process of the 6oz Renegade Sirloin (Butterfly/Well Done). Kya made sure we were pleased with our meal and soft drinks.

We were overall very well pleased with our Renegade Sirloin steaks, Baked Potatoes and Steamed Broccoli and soft drinks. The Steamed Asparagus had a good taste however, it was somewhat tougher than I preferred which made it challenging to cut in half so that I could manage eating bite size pieces.

It would be easier to read the menu if there was better lighting. Of course I am aware that low lighting creates a better ambiance so the area is relaxing, peaceful and somewhat romantic. However, when some of the guests have visual issues it makes it challenging to clearly see to read the menu with many different options to select. So, if the lighting at each table were somewhat brighter or placed in the center of the table as a decorative centerpiece.

In the meantime, even with the couple issues mentioned above we will not be persuaded to choose any other restaurant.

I hardly ever go out for a steak but I happened to be close and figured I would give it a try. My steak was perfect. My server was great, I didnt catch her name. And Charley, the manager stopped to check on me. He was very personable and I enjoyed our conversation. It’s nice to see a manager that touches tables and checks on the guest! Overall wonderful experience!!

What a great experience! If you leave hungry? That’s your fault because the serving sizes are huge. Our wait staff, Ms. Morgan, was exceptional and our food was out super fast too. She checked back often to see if we needed anything and if our food was prepared the way we liked it.
This was a very nice and unexpected treat of a meal as I’d never been here before, but I can tell you this for sure, I’ll DEFINITELY be back again. Thank you Longhorn Steak House for the awesome food and experience!

The service was not the proper one due to different mistakes as for example asking the distribution of the bill without finishing eating and the confusion when serving. Some stakes ordered were improperly cooked and the broccoli was extremely salty. One of the plates was served on an improper manner.

Went to lunch with my boyfriend. Food was great. We both had the Flo filet. We add crusted parmesan. Also as the appetizer we had their stuffed mushrooms ,which were devine! But the best thing was our waitress astinence. I hope I spelled that right. She had great recommendation,knew the menu, was beyond pleasant, and our cups never went empty. She was hopping but had a kind word and a you doing ok every time she passed. Today was great.

I sat at the bar and it was dirty you could feel the leftover food the marble top. The floor had napkins leftover from a previous customer. It was awhile for the bartender to greet me. The place was not busy at all. She took my order and I never saw her again until when she bought my food and drink. I ordered the perfect margarita. It was watered down and had no flavor. I just wanted a loaded baked potato. The potato was partially hard and had very little toppings and was not warm.. My server never came back to check on me. She didn’t return until she gave me the check. I had a choice between Ernesto and Long horn and I should have choose the local business Ernesto. I come from the fine dining food industry. Where customers are valued and great customer service is a must. I truly was not impressed by my baked potato or the service.

Went for dinner last minute and we were greeted at the door and served by a woman named Christina. She was more than helpful. So kind, so prompt, and didn’t skip a beat. She was great. Just moved to Kentucky and this was my first time visiting the Longhorn here, and I can’t tell you how impressed I was. Thanks again, and we will be back. 10/10 ask for her section!
