We were greeted and seated right away. Server attentive until we placed order. Had to ask twice for bread. Salads not cleared, food came out staggered. Mashed potatoes cold. Requested boxes, had to remind server when check was dropped off. Not all the fault of the server, host double sat section while two tables were ready to pay. Some teamwork would have been a help for this situation.

Very long wait. Over an hour. I kept being told that they needed to clean a table and were to put two tables together for this birthday dinner. When we were finally seated, it was not two tables, but one large booth not large enough for 8 people. Table still had crumbs on it as did the banquette bench.

We always have a good meal at Longhorn Steakhouse. Service is generally very good, not a place that draws a lot of young children. For me, that’s a plus. Nothing against young kids, but I prefer the noise at a tolerable level.
