I’ve always enjoyed dining at LongHorn, but my recent visit to the Madison location was very disappointing. I ordered a steak medium well, leaning toward well done, and it had to be recooked three times because it was never prepared correctly. Unfortunately, our server, Sarah H., showed little concern and did not check on us throughout the experience. While the manager did attempt to assist, I still had to speak up for myself to ensure I wasn’t charged for the meal. This experience did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from LongHorn, and I hope steps are taken to improve service and food quality at this location.

Sorry, no photos. My food was devoured, it was so delicious! I had sirloin steak and shrimp with a sweet potato and roasted brussel sprouts! The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The shrimp were juicy and yummy and the brussels were crispy! We started with the spinach dip! It was unforgettable and creamy. The atmosphere was almost like being at the dinner table at home. My server was kind and attentive. She was quick and handled us with care. I can’t wait to visit again!

We just left this establishment about 30 minutes ago on Monday January 19th 2026 and had some of the best service from Brianna. ( I think that was her name I forgot to take my receipt home)
Also hats off to the chef back there that knows how to cook a proper steak. My steak was not only delicious but perfectly cooked! Thanks for a great night!

I can’t really give a rating for food because we never saw a server to take our order. I walked to the host stand and asked for a manager and none came by. The problem is that we used to love this Longhorn location, but it was hard watching tables being sat after us get their drinks and bread, but no one had yet to acknowledge our existence. We finally just left. I hate leaving reviews like this, but the whole experience really made me angry. Normally, I’d keep my negativity between me and the management, but since none came by, we just left.

I went in there twice in one week. On my first visit I was having an extremely bad day. The bartender Tamara noticed that I was upset. She immediately got me something to drink and some salad. Even though the place was very busy she got my food to me very quickly. She also listen to me pour my heart out for a few minutes and it really helped me have a better day. So I decided to take my entire family there on Mother’s Day. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My steak was cooked perfectly and the service was outstanding. This Longhorns maintains a high standard she keeps customers coming back. Highly recommend no matter Busy or not.

Called in 30 before arrival, they did not have my party down. Were very rude to me over the phone when placing a reservation, and were rude upon arrival when they didn’t have my party listed. Did not ask for a phone number, and snarkily commented I “didn’t give them one over the phone” when they hung up on me. Lady also got snappy when I checked in on wait ETA politely.

A guy by the name of Long always serves us. He is VERY RESPECTFUL! He makes sure our food is up to par and we are satisfied with everything! This is the kind of service that is VERY hard to find, so we will come back just because of HIM!!!
