After visiting the Long Horn in Huntsville, I was really hesitant to try this one, but my daughter wanted to go to Long Horn after visiting the one in Dallas. The food was so good. I did not know the food was going to be good, so I played it safe and ordered shrimp with a salad, a baked potato, and the corn on the cob. We had spinach and pita chips for an appetizer. Others in my party ordered the ribeye, with broccoli, and a salad, steak, with broccoli, and mashed potatoes, and steak, with mac n cheese, and a sweet potato. The person who served our table did an amazing job! The steaks were tender and not overcooked. I would definitely frequent this location again.

Realizing we were a take out order and weren’t a priority, the restaurant was not very busy and after waiting an additional 15 minutes than was promised our order was still not ready. I must ask, if one sat down at a table and ordered a meal and almost an hour had elapsed, how many customers would return for that type of service. The lady next to us in the parking lot had also grown tired of waiting. As I thought we were forgotten, when I finally arrived home with our food, only 7 minutes from the restaurant, our food was cold. They also failed to include an order of Mac-n-cheese. The Caesar’s salad is only a bowl of lettuce. This is today’s generation and idea of service. The final straw is these apps requiring a tip to be paid prior to service. We have always bragged about this restaurant but the past two visits we find it’s service depleting badly. Guess we will move our business to Texas Roadhouse and give them a try. We also requested cheese be added to the broccoli and there is a couple of drops added.

Best Longhorn Steakhouse experience in a long time! I take clients to LongHorn often as they’re always reliably delicious and high end. Today was the first time I’ve had the white cheddar mushrooms and I will never not order them. They’re amazing. I got the salmon but ordered it blackened and it was the best salmon I’ve had in so long. Truly a great dining experience. Our waitress, Amy, was excellent. She was kind, professional, and welcoming. Kudos to her!

I loved all of the cowboy decor and I loved the lower lighting which is great when you have a migraine like I did the day we ate there for the 1st time.
Goodness, the waitress was great. We asked her what she liked & what most people ordered. We found her very nice & she kept our drinks filled and cleared away plates as needed.
The food was absolutely delicious & the portion sizes were big. I chose the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a Sweet Potato & Asparagus. I was only able to eat about half of my meal so I took the other half home to eat the next day.

Always good. The New York strip was near perfect, and mashed potatoes very good. The atmosphere was great, service good, and seating comfortable. We have been at this location several times and it is consistently very good.

Once upon a time this was my favorite place to eat in Decatur. I went back after not eating here for over a year because the last two times we previously ate there the steaks were terribly tough and the potato’s were cold. I was hoping that they had gotten things together but I was disappointed that they had not. The steak was only OK, not great as they once were. The salad had lots of black spots on the lettuce and when the waitress asked if everything was ok and i showed her the salad her response was “Oh my, that’s not good.” Then she walked off with it. I asked for my bill, I paid it and I will not be going back to this Longhorn. I recommend that no one eat here unless you like sub par food. Maybe they will close and a decent steakhouse can open in the building.
