Greeter could be a little more friendly. We had GREAT service from Grace, our waitress. This new facility provides a nice atmosphere but I prefer that the bar be more isolated. Music is a bit loud. Warm bread & butter is a great way to start. The cheeseburger is huge, very tasty, and a genuine bargain. Wife enjoyed grilled chicken/lettuce salad w raspberry vinaigrette. Didn’t care for the rice. My photos should have been taken sooner- what can I say. We’ll be back.

Started off very nice. Staff friendly. Got seated then forgotten about. After about 20 minutes a Server, Kayla, comes to get our drink orders. Hubby ordered a Tito’s Texas Tea. She says they are out of that drink. So he asks for a Long Island Tea. She says they are out of that also. He got a Margarita. About 10 minutes later she comes to take our food order. In conversation we tell her were are traveling from Texas to attend a Church in a neighboring town, for a Tribal Nation’s Revival. Her demeanor changed. We got our Tonions. I asked for extra sauce. Hubby loves the sauce. Lol. I ordered salad and soup. He ordered the Regular Ribeye, Okra and corn on cob. Was told they don’t serve Okra. He was heartbroken because he loves the fried Okra. I get my food. The salad was barely a handful of lettuce, 2 grapes, 1 mandarine orange wedge, a few pecan pieces, half a strawberry, cut in half and barely and dressing. The Potato Soup tasted like it came from a can. Husband sits and watches me eat. I finish my meal. He is still waiting on his food. Kayla then brings him his side Salad. He eats it and waits 15 more minutes for his meal. His steak was thin and not well seasoned. We then got our extra sauce for our already eaten Tonions. We never got our bread. Kayla was very attentive to the booth next to us celebrating a birthday. My Husband was very disappointed. We tipped her very well regardless. All the Staff seamed pretty good, except Kayla. Maybe she just had an off night.

I was slightly disappointed, not devastated though. This was our first time to eat at this location after 5 previous attempts. The wait has always been 45 minutes or more. My steak was a little tough and was lacking enough seasoning. Tia was a phenomenal server who was on top of our needs. I loved the ambiance of the dining area.

We got the Texas Tonion, and it was very salty, same for the shrimp. The berry salad is really good. Didn’t want to send it back and upset the cook. The waitress and hostess play a lot. Our waitress kept forgetting the things we needed. It’ll be a while before I go back.

Lemme tell you. We ordered a nice shrimp appetizer followed by a salad and our dinners and then the cheesecake. All the food was damn good. Main course was park crusted chicken and parm crusted outlaw steak. The only complaint I have is the waitress was better than the food. Anna took great care of us. Even though we was her last table for the night. That lady needs a raise because customer service is what she done. Not just for us. Her entire section was complimenting her on her job. I will specifically ask for her for now on. She is a genuine person and never let my cup run dry.

The newly opened Gardendale longhorns is exactly what they needed ! Nice, new clean , I was there on Mother’s Day for lunch with a party of 13, we did have to set in 3 different locations because they hadn’t got there long tables in . But they were prepared for the huge rush , service was great, friendly , she knew the menu. Food was fresh , hot and delicious bathrooms was clean . Plenty of parking outside for now, not sure when the new Olive Garden opens right next to it . Steak was cooked to perfection!
