My favorite menu item is a fried chicken sandwich! I know- people say , pretty basic. My argument is that they are not all made the same. When I find a good one… I share it. Finally tried one at Longhorn! Just let the photo speak for itself. Top notch!

Go with my family often. Meals are always good and service is always exceptional. We have gotten “Bella” as our server the last two times and she is nothing short of great! Awesome personality enduring both my VERY social 5yo son and all the “dad jokes” coming from others at our table like a champ!! Between her and the lady that brings our food (my fault for not catching her name but my son knows her as “The Kroger lady” due to seeing her at Kroger several months ago and remembering her) they provide the best service we’ve ever experienced even when this place is packed for dinner on the weekends. I’ve spent 20yrs in corporate management and these two impress me every visit! Above all they are always smiling!

This is hands down the best steakhouse near my parents house. We came here for Father’s Day and had a great time. The steak was flavorful and cooked just right. Prices are a bit higher compared to Texas Roadhouse, but the quality makes up for it. Service was a little slow, but it seemed like they were super busy, so it’s understandable. The manager was very friendly and made an effort to check on every table, which we appreciated. Overall, a solid choice for a special meal!

This is the worst Longhorns I’ve ever been to. Over $80 for two meals and drinks and it has to be the worst steak I’ve ever ate. I ordered the ribeye and it was extremely hard. I had a hard time getting a steak knife to cut through it. Everything is always overcooked. The filet mignon was supposed to be Medium Rare but NO pink completely cooked through. This is our 3rd and last experience here. Go to Outback or even Chilis for a better steak.

There are plenty of restaurants in the Dawsonville, and we like to visit new restaurants in the area. The LongHorn Steakhouse has been on our list for a while.
It was a mixed experience. We visited the restaurant on a Sunday around 6:15 pm, and it was half empty. There were several tables that had not been cleaned. Our table surface was ok, the seats had breadcrumbs, and the area under the table had not been cleaned in a while. The service was average, lack of water refills, and a flat beer, that should not be served. The bathroom was very, very dirty. I would not go back to the bathroom at all.
The positive was definitely the food. The Cesar salad dressing was very well seasoned, the fries were hot and tasty, and the steak was cooked to point at medium rare. The portions were good. The price point was a bit high, but that is very much the situation everywhere.

I ordered my steak medium but it came out still mooing, pretty much had to catch it to put it back on my plate. My server was ok, she left before I could order the appetizer but she was ok just needed to slow down alil. All in all it was a bad experience for me but my daughter was happy so there’s that!.

We hadn’t been here in years, so we figured we’d give it a go. The food itself was quite flavorful. We both had steak, cooked to our individual liking, my wife’s extremely rare rare and mine medium. She ordered the asparagus as a side, and what a mound of it! We liked it. I had the rice and it was pretty good itself. The staff was friendly, we went on a Sunday so they were rather slammed, but we have no complaint other than the bread they give you is rather flavorless. But honestly, there was nothing overly exceptional about our visit, just an average chain steak house that’s a little more on the pricier end than our more preferred chains.

I had the grilled salmon and loaded sweet potato – always good. My wife had the burger, her favorite. It never fails to impress. So big, she brought half of it home for later. Our other favorite is the filet steak. Always juicy and seasoned just right. We love the bread that we try not to fill up on while we wait. The server was awesome, as we’ve come to expect.

Our server was AJ he was awesome! He was so sweet and we ate around 5 pm. I had that filet with fries and a Caesar salad and the appetizer was so good too! We had that Wild West shrimp that was my favorite! We truly will be coming back to have AJ as our server again! He was one of the best and the manager should be appreciated to have him at longhorns! Great Job AJ!
