The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh, and it was perfectly coated with dressing. The croutons were fresh and crunchy. It was delicious and I ate every last bite.
When my main dish arrived, I was surprised at the portion sizes. The parmesan crusted chicken was extremely tender and had a really nicely toasted parmesan crust with a saucy parmesan cream sauce underneath. As for the ribs, they were really smokey and had a great bite and chew. The barbecue sauce was tangy and complemented them nicely, and they even included some extra sauce on the side. The baked potato was generously covered in toppings, and was hot and delicious.
All I can tell you is that the meal was wonderful, the service was spectacular, and it was absolutely one of the best meals that I’ve had in a very long time. And when the bill came, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. I was really expecting it to be more.
I guess it could be how they season all of their steaks, but definitely not to my taste.
I do want to express though, that the service was great.
The food arrived in a timely manner despite the restaurant being full for dinner rush. Our wait was normal for our size group, but we we were seated fairly quickly.
The food was delicious, and everyone seemed to have enjoyed their meal selection.
When we arrived, we were seated at the first table directly behind the hostess stand. Our server took our order, and I clearly shared that we were celebrating our anniversary, which she acknowledged.
Our appetizer and salad arrived-spinach dip and salads with bread. The bread was hard, but we chose not to complain. After finishing the appetizers and salads, none of the plates were cleared. Multiple servers walked past our table several times, yet no one removed the empty dishes.
When our entrées finally arrived, the steaks were overcooked, dry, and only lukewarm, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp. We had ordered medium-well, but the steaks were very well done and crispy on top. The food was not hot.
We stopped our server as she walked past—she did not check on us on her own. She took the steaks back and asked if we wanted our baked potatoes separately. We explained we wanted the full meal together, so she took everything back. During this entire time, our table remained cluttered with empty salad plates, bread, and appetizer dishes, and again, multiple staff members passed by without clearing anything.
A manager never once came to our table-not to apologize, not to acknowledge the mistake, and not to check on our experience.
The corrected steaks eventually came out and were cooked properly. At that point, we requested to-go boxes. We packed our food ourselves while the table remained piled with dirty dishes.
When the server returned, she brought the check immediately, without offering a dessert menu. I stopped her and mentioned that this was our anniversary and that it had not been acknowledged. Only then did she apologize and mention that LongHorn offers a complimentary sundae for anniversaries. We accepted, and the dessert was brought out and was very good.
However, even after dessert, none of the plates-steak plates, salad dishes, bread, appetizer plates-were cleared. The table was left cluttered until we finished and left.
To be clear:
• The food itself was good once corrected
• The service, table maintenance, and management presence were unacceptable
For an anniversary dinner, we expected attentiveness, basic table service, and at the very least, a manager to acknowledge the issues we experienced. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as this experience did not reflect the level of service we’ve come to expect from LongHorn Steakhouse.
The menu choice i went with was the salmon/rice that was good with broccoli and mashed potatoes. I came into town to surprise my girlfriend and propose a day later. She said yes! If you are wondering who the guy was with the lime green Lamborghini huracan, it was me. I appreciate everyone respecting this handmade masterpiece. I didn’t mind photos . I hope everyones social media blew up with pics with it. I will be back again soon.
I wouldn’t recommend the 22oz longhorn, the ribeye it is a better choice.
Chicken wings were a little bit dry.
Spicy chicken bites are pretty good.
Attached are the pics of the food and receipt, hope this little review help you pick up the best.
