Needed to be in Cartersville for an appointment. Did some shopping and we decided to grab a late lunch at 2 pm. Agreed on burgers at this Longhorn location. Upon entering, the hostess stand was MIA. We noticed right away that several people were waiting inside and outside for a table. The hostess finally came over, and we were immediately told that there would be a 15-minute wait? Then asked us if we planned on waiting? This seemed odd due to the lack of people seated. I looked past the hostess stand at the one eating area and noticed 2 dirty tables, and counted 6 more empty, which could easily seat 2. I inquired about them with the hostess and was told “with additude ” that they are not cleaned and unassigned. We sat down with all of the other sheeple and waited. As we sat, I noticed the filthy dust and dirt, which started from the entrance and didn’t stop anywhere we looked. The filth extended from the hostess stand and behind it where someone was brave enough to place her coac55h bag in shelving at the dirty floor. 25 minutes later, we were directed to follow our hostess over to the other side of this establishment. She sat us in a booth, which was still dirty, and wiped the greasy soiled seat onto the floor with her hand and walked away without so much as a look back. As we awaited our server, we looked at the dirty menus left and noticed another party of 4 being seated in the corner booth. We then realized the dirty rag and bottle of cleaner on top of their partitioning wall of the corner booth that the hostess obviously was clueless to. as we waited, we looked at the dust covered lamp on our wall as well as food splatter, which I was seated next to. The salt and pepper grinders were also greasy and covered in dust. As I began taking pictures, our wait staff arrived and asked to take our drinks. We explained that we had plenty of time and just wanted to order. She placed an order for 2 burgers, 1 black & and blue, aka very rare, and one medium rare. 1 seafood soup and 1 onion soup. Our orders emerged in lightning time. As the onion soup hit the table, it appeared dry and burnt on top. The rare burger was also Gray in color and well done. The bisque was tasteless, and the other burger was so raw it didn’t want to hold shape when picked up. I waited quite a while before we found our server to show her. She took the food back and reordered. She arrived with a new burger, which appeared to be cooked correctly this time. The onion soup looked much better. I wanted to eat the soup 1st and was disappointed to find it was tasteless. Brown liquid without flavor. The bisque was bland and never exposed any shrimp or lobster as claimed. It’s just a bland cream soup. I went to try the burger, and unfortunately, found a hair in the food. I took photos and was disgusted enough and definitely didn’t want to eat anything else from here. I asked for the check and a to go box toe8 feed the burger to my dogs. Of all the longhornp steakhouses, this has been the worst. By the looks of all the filth, the customers are made to endure. I could only imagine how bad the kitchen is. I’m sure if a food inspector entered, it would receive a big huge F. The hostess needs a different job. I gave the stars I did because our server was very understanding and friendly. Other Longhorns are so much better.

It was my birthday and my server Dreamer treated me as a queen from the time we were seated until we left (even before she knew it was a special day)! The food was brought out timely. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful. However, the lamb chops were slightly charred . The salad was very fresh and of course the bread was delicious. The atmosphere was nice.

Came here on August 12th around 4:30-5pm although they weren’t extremely busy we did have a party of 10 mostly children in that party. Was a half an hour wait. Took around 45 minutes to get our food order and drinks after being seated. Food and appetizers took over an hour. I got full off bread and didn’t even finish my ribeye . Very disappointed as I was traveling and love Long Horn. Would never recommend this place. Bathroom was dirty. Staff was friendly but needs trained as our servers looked lost and confused I felt bad for them.

You can’t go wrong with Longhorn. I’ve eaten at this location several times and have left satisfied. I enjoy their steaks, especially flo’s fillet (my favorite), but on occasion they have been a little bit bland or tough. Mostly, they come out just right. Recently, I’ve had their grilled chicken and strawberry salad with a side of broccoli. OMG! This was DELICIOUS!! The fruit was fresh and sweet, adding that special flavor to the salad. The chicken was tasty and the broccoli cooked perfectly. It filled me up without making me feel “stuffed.” I believe this will be my new favorite order. The service has always been good. Weekend nights can get busy, so be prepared for a wait or come another night.

The food was delicious! The waitress was really nice. My husband was upset about the hostess not greeting us, but she seemed really busy. The only complaint would be that the tables didn’t have any sauce. Like steak sauce or ketchup. And had to ask for napkins. But I would recommend sn: the spinach dip was amazing

Wait staff was overloaded, over worked. I realize this is a steak house, but the only vegetarian option i found was a side salad. Prices are high for what it is. There’s a reason tables are available there when there’s a wait at Texas Roadhouse.
