Once a month I treat myself to a local joint, Longhorns in the Avenue. I am never disappointed! The food that comes out of that kitchen is the bomb. I unfortunately will not be returning back. I ordered a ribeye steak with sweet potato and brussels sprouts there was plastic in my steak. I bit into a piece first bite I get it plastic. I tell the server but I didn’t get any apology. I go ahead and order a salmon, it was alright not what I went there for no complaint’s but definitely not my favorite. The check comes. The ribeye was taken away of course but I expected something more, I would’ve wanted an apology and my salmon to be free. Actually it was should’ve been free any other restaurant would do, I REPEAT I BIT INTO PLASTIC!!!! but I guess my mistake was not telling the manager and now I know next time, please tell the manager if something like this happens to you very disappointed in this longhorn.

We ended up here after going into another restaurant in the same shopping center and being totally ignored by the wait staff. I’m actually really glad we had such a bad experience at the other restaurant because we walked out and came to Longhorn. We were treated so well. Our server was gracious, quick, efficient, and it made for an overall great experience with very enjoyable food. Such a pleasure. Cozy atmosphere to boot.

Took my Bible Study Class today. Went day before to let manager know. Tables had to be added, but, service was great. We had 20 ladies. Everyone enjoyed their food, tge atmosphere and the servers were great. Thank you. The servers were polite and accommodating. Steaks were good and soups were hot and salads fresh.

Pro tip: if you like yours medium, maybe order rare-to-medium instead… they have a habit of going a little over (unless you like your “medium” with some crunch ). A bit on the salty side too, so hydrate accordingly. Pricing? Yeah, it’s a bit $$$, but hey, it’s a steakhouse, not a Tuesday night fast food run. Solid spot if you’re craving red meat, don’t mind a little salt, and like your dinner with a side of cowboy energy.
