My son and I went for the first time the day before Christmas Eve. We only go to a sit down restaurant once a year around Christmas. So if the place is bad it’s a real bummer. They were busy but we were seated right away and server was immediately at our table taking our drink order. Our server Trent was just amazing. I know he was running around busy but he never failed to check on us. Food came out hot with perfect timing. Everything tasted yummy. We got some appetizers, steak, lobster and lava cake. It was all super yummy and totally worth the visit.

I love Longhorns but I feel over the years its becoming inconsistent with the food quality and presentation. My Cowboy steak was dry, my rice was only but 2 spoonfuls. For the price of the meal I’d expect a little more. Kids grilled chicken was so dry and tough he didnt want to eat it. The food is okay…but I feel places like Outback Steakhouse are more consistent with the food preparation and quantities served. And as far as the Bill Pickett situation…..thats just wrong. I think Longhorns should take that picture off the wall and I’d be surprised if someone else hasn’t already mentioned this picture as controversial….. Better luck next time Longhorns

I recently visited Longhorn Steakhouse for the first time. I was incredibly surprised as it far surpassed my expectations. Food was awesome and the service was on point, they didn’t hound you but my glass was never empty. Drinks are great and NOT overpriced. Desserts are off the chain!

We had a bit of a wait due to it being Sunday but it was worth it. The service was great and our server was AMAZING. We ordered a lot of food and everything was great. My husband had the lamb chops but had them sent back but when they were recooked they were perfect. The chicken bites were really good and the flavor was chef’s kiss. My steak was perfect and my shrimp were flavorful. My brussels were pretty good too. They were crowded but they moved fast. We will be back.

Just a heads up: it *can* get packed, especially on Sundays. We’ve seen waits get long with the after-church and family crowd. Weeknights are way chiller. But even when busy, the staff rocks at keeping things moving. Overall? Great food, killer margarita, good prices – you leave full and happy. Just maybe call ahead or aim off-peak on Sundays! Definitely recommend for a satisfying, well-priced steak night. Worth every penny.

As for the food, it was great. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor.

My order was a to-go seven-pepper steak salad. I order the steak medium-well. However, what I received was a small cut of meat that was not well-seasoned, and well done. The steak was dry and flavorless. If this had been the first time, I would have overlooked it. However, this was not. I am a creature of habit, so when I taste a meal that I like at a restaurant, it becomes my go-to. The inconsistency in the preparation is what is unacceptable. It seems the quality of the meal is determined by who is in the kitchen. Because of the numerous times my meal was incorrectly prepared, I voiced my concerns to Longhorn’s Guest Relations.

We had lunch here today. The food was enjoyable and the service was pleasant, but unfortunately the atmosphere made the experience very disappointing. From the moment we walked in, there was a very strong, unpleasant odor in the restaurant. My mom described it as rotting fish, my sister thought it smelled like moldy wood, and to me it was more like old carpet. Regardless of what it was, it was overpowering and hard to ignore.
Because of this, we won’t be returning. It’s unfortunate, because the staff and food were good, but the smell made the overall dining experience uncomfortable.
