My experience at LongHorn today was very disappointing. I only dined here because my mother requested it. Service started off okay but progressively declined when our server disappeared for an extended period of time. The restaurant was not crowded at all—it was around 2:00 PM. I had to ask for our server twice, and the last time was just to get the check.
The most unacceptable part of this experience, and the reason I will not be returning, was the condition of the women’s restroom. Multiple stalls had no toilet paper—only one stall was stocked. As soon as I noticed this, I informed our server when I returned to the table. She said she would notify the manager.
After being in the restaurant for nearly two hours, I needed to use the restroom again, and nothing had been done. The toilet paper had still not been replaced. That is completely unacceptable, especially at that time of day. Both rolls in the stalls were empty.
When I finally spoke to a manager who had just come on duty before I left, the explanation given made no sense however he said he would address immediately. This is a health concern, considering staff use the same restrooms. It’s alarming that no one addressed it.
Needless to say I decided not to eat my food.
LongHorn, you need to do better. This experience was frustrating and disappointing.

I think this is the only LongHorn Steakhouse in NePhilly. It was extremely busy when we went, so the wait time was pretty long. Because of how packed it was, a couple of orders at our table were initially mixed up. That said, the staff handled it well and fixed everything quickly without any hassle. The servers kept checking in on us and made sure we were taken care of. Once the food came out correctly, it was really good and definitely worth the wait. Overall a solid experience, especially considering how busy they were.

Do not order pick up!!!!I ordered online, curb side pick up, I follow the instructions in the text for when I arrive. I wait 20 minutes and decide to call. They tell me of we were busy, can you come in. Okay no problem I get it, it’s Valentine’s Day. I go in there and there 5-6 employees congregating at the pick up portion of the bar, just talking. But they were too busy to come bring me my order. Terrible, food is pretty much cold now.
Update: get home, toppings are missing on one of my meals. Can’t even follow simple instructions and options. Why offer and charge more for them? This place is trash.

Went today for the first time. Absolutely horrible experience. The waiter? Forgot his name, slowest thing in the world, had to chase him for drinks, food, bread, would disappear, waited 45 min for the food, the salad finally came. Had to step away because my child wasn’t feeling well, asked for to go boxes, another 45 mins for the BOXES, ( without the food) ended up brining the food out finally and we’re like where’s the boxes? Another 20 mins, Asked for supervisor, Another 20 , asked again, the girl at the front forgot we even asked for one, 30 mins later the “manager on shift” Rudy apparently? Said they were “short staffed”and asked us what he wanted us to do???? Like what???????? DO SOMETHING FIX IT! Make up for it, do something! Anything at this point? He did nothing at all, we left and soon as We get home, we realized they forgot the damn lobster tail at this point I’m just officially done with the place, Called afterwards and spoke to Shaniqua? The new manager on shift and she said the waiter forgot to put it on the bill. Done with the whole team, horrible, negligent, unprofessional, neverrrrrrr will go back there again. The food it self tasted well, it’s a shame that the employees & service suck so bad. Never had to leave a bad review at any restaurant, I’m always leaving good ones. This place needs NEW MANAGEMENT ASAP! I get short staffing happens but customers shouldn’t have to pay for that, they’re PAYING to eat and have a good time with family, not encounter a horrible dinner outing with poor poor service !

Took one of my love one here for there birthday we had a good time for my appetizer, I had the steakhouse, wings, or ranch and blue cheese delicious for my entrée, I had the salmon and steak combo with a Caesar salad, macaroni and cheese, garlic, butter, rice, steakhouse, macaroni, and broccoli it was so good. I couldn’t even finish my whole entrée at all because the bread that butter they serve before you receive your meal and the salad I got omg it was so good it was just everything everything was delicious. Loved it so much came back Sunday after church with church family got the steak combo

Fabulously beautiful cowboy atmosphere. The most delicious steak. I tried every type of steak on the menu. My favorite was the Longhorn steak. Nobody can cook grilled corn like they do here. Branded bread and farm butter are very tasty. It’s always very clean, cozy and beautiful here.

I typically receive good food/service when I’ve visited LongHorn in the past and this day I didn’t think I’d have any issues.
We were greeted and immediately seated and our server Sarah soon came over to greet us and take our drink orders. She was very patient, attentive, and friendly.
Ordered were placed, received our bread, then appetizers and then our meal. I asked for my steak to be medium well and instead received a very well done steak. So much so that the other side of the steak (part that was plate down) was burnt and the part that was plate up was burnt as well but not that bad. I was eating charred meat. Informed our server who was very apologetic and said I could send it back (something I don’t like to do at all and didn’t). She took my plate and soon returned and said she took my entire meal off the bill. I was thankful for her support and made sure she got a lil extra tip on top of the 20%.
Everything else with our meal was good and tasty.
Oh the one thing I didn’t care for was the French Onion soup. The cheese on top was super chewy. So much so that I thought I had gum in my mouth.

Had about a 20 minute wait, which isnt too bad.I had ordered NY Strip Steak, with a side of steamed broccoli and loaded baked potato. Was delicious. Steak cooked perfectly. Potato was a little dry though, but broccoli was amazing. My other half ordered lobster tail with some shrimp, and a steak with baked potato. Everything was delicious. Little pricey, but I would go back. Texas Roadhouse is a little better, but no complaints at Longhorne.

When you don’t have many good dining options on Roosevelt Boulevard, this steakhouse is definitely worth a visit. Their service is more attentive and friendly than any of the nearby restaurants.
