I don’t know why these longhorns are so darn cold.
Anyway, this experience was much better than the Howell location. Service was great and my cowboy steak-although thin, wasn’t as thin as the steak um I had at Howell. I will go to this location again. The lobster tail was perfectly quick and had a nice sweetness. Courtney C was great! Ask for her when you visit.

While I haven’t dined at LongHorn Steakhouse in a long time, I would recommend it for a quick meal during your lunch break. The half pound steakhouse cheese burger was delicious and the staff was really quick to get us in and out for our lunch hour

We were served by a young man named Aaron, and he was absolutely fantastic. It had been a tough day for me at the hospital, and two friends brought me here to help lift my spirits. I ordered the T-bone steak with asparagus, but my friend kept stealing my asparagus — so Aaron surprised us by bringing her a side of her own! He kept the energy up the entire time and really entertained us. We made sure to tip him well. The manager even flipped a coin and decided to give us a discount — a fun touch that made the experience even better.
This place has officially become one of my favorites.
A few notes for others: I’m just shy of 30, and most of the crowd was around 55+, with a few young families mixed in. It seems like it can get pretty busy, so plan accordingly depending on your vibe. Drinks are moderately priced, and the bar staff look like they know what they’re doing. The restaurant is clean, though a little extra dusting wouldn’t hurt. The service team is diverse in age, mostly male — in case that matters to you.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere.

Second time here. I wanted a good steak for my birthday without breaking the bank. We already did Texas Roadhouse for my Daughter’s birthday last February. So, I decided to go to Longhorn Steakhouse in Freehold. I’ve been here before and I enjoyed that dinner before. This time it was a mixed bag. Our server was friendly, but seemed too frazzled. She talked a bit too fast and had a tendency to eat her words. She didn’t offer bread right away. We had to ask for it. Her excuse was that she couldn’t carry the bread while holding the drinks. Whatever.
The food was still very good. The steaks came at the right temperatures, were tender, juicy and seasoned right. Of course, this spot is no fancy New York Steakhouse, but I’d pick this place over Chris Ruth’s any day. You get the best bang for the buck.
One beef (no pun intended) we had, though, was that the waitress didn’t mention that the second sides were extra. She just said that the steaks come with two sides. When we got our bill, we were surprised to be charged for them. We complained. Management was kind enough to take them off our bill.
Will we be coming back to this spot. Maybe. We’ll be more careful when ordering sides next time and hope we don’t get the same server.

I was not disappointed with my steak. It was tender, delicious and tasted fresh ………….thank goodness.
I’ve become a steak snob, after purchasing 1/2 cow and living on great beef.
The bread at the start? Eh.
My sweet tea? Tasted funny, so I opted for water.

I cannot stress enough how our server Ian curated a perfect birthday for my mom, tonight. The attention to detail, full beverages, checking in with us regularly, and quickly responding to our needs is some of the best service I have ever seen. Having had experience waitressing myself, I know how difficult it can be to give tables the attention they need while also responding to requests quickly. The food was correct the first time, the flow of salads and soup followed by the meals was seamless, and our crowded table of four happy campers was cleared frequently. Ian did an incredible job. Kudos to the food runners, staff, and management for enabling a top-notch experience for our group tonight.

I had such a great dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse in Freehold, NJ. Our server, Courtney, was absolutely wonderful — very nice, courteous, and attentive throughout our meal. Chase, the manager, also stopped by to check in and was extremely accommodating and friendly. It’s always nice to see a team that truly cares about their guests’ experience. The food was delicious, we had lemon garlic chicken dinner and 2 ribeye dinners and the service was excellent, and I can’t wait to return again soon!

Longhorn Steakhouse is always my favorite choice out of all the local steakhouses. I went for my birthday and the food was great! I got a burger with fries which were both cooked to perfection. Their fries are very well seasoned. I even added an extra side of mashed potatoes in. They were great, but I recommend asking for less butter. My girlfriend got the firecracker chicken and corn on the cob and she loved it. Our server, Robert, was the best! He frequently came to check on us and get us whatever we needed. My biggest pet peeve in restaurants is when your server doesn’t come back to refill water and napkins. Im glad this wasn’t the case with Robert at longhorn! When we went there was not wait but I always recommended calling for a reservation.
