I had high hopes for this restaurant that was built in 1873 but somebody redecorated it and split up the bar from the restaurant from the diner and you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the dining room which is dirty. The food is overpriced especially considering 30 minutes away actually 15 minutes away in Klamath Falls you have the Black Bear Diner whose food is 80% better in my opinion. The people that work there are very kind and sweet but I think they’re used to it not being busy and I don’t recall anyone asking if we needed anything else. They were kind and nice but it didn’t make up for a very expensive dinner of prime rib that was not cooked properly but was spiced terrific. I would say it’s probably one of the better restaurants in town but I like the Mexican one down the street a whole lot better

Went for prime rib Friday, had salad skipped the chowder. The meat was cooked to order with just the right flavor. The mashed taters were smooth with gravy. The staff were super friendly. Will definitely be dining there again.

Bathrooms are clean. Service is great. I asked for fries add garlic powder, and cheese. Add Ranch. They did an excellent job! I didn’t have to ask for the 2nd ranch she just popped it in there. It has a vintage homey feel. Family friendly.
