Stopped in for a classic coastal seafood lunch and went with the fried redfish basket, and it absolutely delivered. The redfish was cooked just right, light and crispy on the outside with tender, flaky fish inside. It tasted fresh and wasn’t greasy, which is always the difference between good fried seafood and great fried seafood.

The homemade tartar sauce was a standout and paired perfectly with the fish, adding a fresh, tangy flavor that elevated every bite. The coleslaw is also homemade and made with jalapeño, pineapple, and vinegar, giving it a bright tang with a touch of sweetness and just enough heat to make it stand out from traditional slaw. Fries were hot and plentiful, rounding out a simple, satisfying meal.

We also tried the fried shrimp, which were nicely breaded with a great crunch and cooked evenly throughout. The smoked tuna dip appetizer was another highlight, rich and smoky with great flavor and served with crisp chips that made it hard to stop reaching for one more.

Our server, Samantha, was friendly and attentive and added to the relaxed coastal atmosphere that fits Cape San Blas perfectly. Casual, welcoming, and exactly the kind of place you hope to find near the water.

A solid seafood stop serving straightforward Gulf Coast comfort food done right.

Worst food I’ve had in a long time. 8 wings 18$ and had freezer burn. 2 where the size of golf balls and rubbery. Horrible. Fish dip was dry and yuk. Fed it to dog for some protein. Chips stale. My burger was two pre packaged pre cooked pre microwave blah. Paid for the location. This was just the worst. Waitress / bartender had no personality. I’ve had better gas station food.

A great place for lunch. We sat in the screened porch. Nice and sunny with fresh air. I ordered the house salad with shrimp and amazing 1000 island dressing. Almost finished my whole meal before I remembered I wanted to take a photo. That’s how good it was! Nice selection of beers from area breweries too

We stopped in at LongBill’s on the Cape for lunch and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere feels like a casual beach-themed bar—laid-back and perfect for a coastal spot.

The menu is a bit limited when it comes to fresh fish (only flounder and cod were available the day we visited), but what we had was tasty. I ordered the fried flounder and shrimp combo basket. It wasn’t overly greasy, and everything was seasoned nicely. My wife had the flounder sandwich, which she liked overall, though the bun was a little on the dry side.

They also offer a pizza menu, and the pizzas looked huge—several tables around us ordered them and seemed to really enjoy them. Seating is limited inside and they have a small covered screened in porch area for extra seats.

If you’re looking for a casual place with solid seafood and a relaxed vibe, LongBill’s is worth checking out if you’re staying on the Cape.

The food is great. Best fried pickles I’ve ever had.

The fried items are cooked crispy in fresh tasting oil. The fish and shrimp were fresh. The blackened seasoning is delicious and not overpowering.

All the staff was friendly and welcoming. It’s a small restaurant and the food and service are both exceptional. This is my favorite restaurant when visiting cape San blais.

Being one of the few restaurants open in the evenings in the island, I had high hopes. Unfortunately they were not met. Seating is very limited and we waited over an hour despite being told 40 min wait. We were sat out on the covered screen porch but it started raining and a few in our party were getting wet but there was no offer for other seating (staff should have enough experience to know their restaurant and the potential risk of elements). They were low on the availability of seafood (was only 5 pm). Food was fair and we would never go back or recommend them. If you do go, nachos and fish tacos were good. Chicken sandwich was not.

Great food and service, we came here twice in a week, and both times were a great experience! The Fish Tacos are REALLY good! I got the Forgotten Coast Pasta, I asked for it to be extra spicy and it was DELICIOUS, highly recommended.

The service and ambience was nice, everything was very clean, and they have one of the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever seen!

I would recommend coming here anytime you get a chance!
