This was our second time here within one week! I had the chicken strips last time and tonight – they are delicious! Last time my husband had swordfish which he states was great. Tonight we each had a bowl of soup, New England clam chowder with scallops and lobster bisque. We split the crispy chicken strips appetizer and the loaded potato skins. Finished dinner with the chocolate rum cake and a glass of Merlot! The service is excellent and the food is consistently great!

I’ve been all over the country, all over parts of the ADK, and am spoiled in the FLX area by great food, The Longview experience was absolutely amazing. It was easily the best food I’ve ever had in the ADKs. I had the pan seared steak with green beans and whipped potatoes. The steak was so tender it melted in my mouth, the potatoes were good and the beans cooked perfect. The food was great but our waitress Trisha was even better. She was so friendly, always smiling, always checking in with us and refreshing our drinks. The lodge itself has a deep rooted history some of which Trisha shared with us. If you want the ultimate ADK food experience this is the place to go. Thanks for the great experience!! We will be visiting you again!!

This place has a really good chef, diner was excellent and I highly recommend it if you come this way. I am usually very critical of American roadside restaurant bu this one is a gem, enjoy the salmon and the cobbler for desert, all cooked to perfection and generous. Staff is very nice in a country lodge atmosphere.

They have the best ranch dressing ever. Their kid chicken tenders are made from fresh chicken breasts and have a great crispy breading. Excellent burger also.

We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The bartender, perhaps his name was John, was very cordial and made some great meal recommendations. He even made up a drink for me based on my preferences and put a lot of effort into what turned out to be a well worth the effort drink!! I’ll definitely return when I visit the area. The owner always remembers my buddy whom visits year round. It’s nice to get that kind of service and be treated like part of the community. Highly recommend this spot.

Friendly place with very open and warm atmosphere. Large windows for great views of the yard out to Long Lake. An excellent, concise menu with reasonable prices for the quality. Good drink variety as well. I ordered the Beef & Bacon Burger which came with two thick patties, delicious “special sauce”, plenty of cheese and bacon, on brioche. The side salad was nice and refreshing with a tasty house dressing, a coule radish slices were a great touch. The fries were perfectly crisp and well-seasoned with thyme! Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quality, hearty meal and good people.
