Food is lovely, but the one old fella who delivers is awful! Pre ordered my food, food is late. After forty minutes says on the app it’s been delivered, food is nowhere to be seen. I ring the Chinese several times, but the phone is always off the hook. About ten minutes later after contacting Just Eat, says my food is delayed and will arrive soon. About twenty minutes later there’s a loud knock on the door. I open it and it’s the old guy who delivers for them and shouts at me that my phone is off, when it never was. No apology for being considerably late, he just keeps giving out and says another two or three times “your phone is off!”. He then goes off but leaves the gate wide open. This isn’t the first run in with this driver, he’s parked 200m from my house and asked me to go up to him in the lashing rain to collect my food from his car, when I’ve paid for delivery. And my order always seems to be late or missing a drink when he delivers. It’s a pity because the food is lovely and the other delivery drivers are polite. But this aul lad is awful, I honestly don’t know why they still have him delivering, previously on Just Eat there were loads of complaints about him in reviews.

This might look like your ordinary takeaway, but genuinely speaking their food is brilliant. For the price they ask, the quantity of food is insane. Sure they could work a little on the inner decor, but that’s hardly an issue if the food is splendid which sure is.

I wish I could give zero stars, I’ve had my fair share of bad customer service but I think this takes first prize. I ordered a 4 in 1 with shredded chicken and a portion of spring rolls from a takeaway that Is 4 mins down the road and straight away I found it weird that he didn’t read the order back to me, didn’t tell me how long it would take or how much it would be and hung up, after waiting nearly a full hour, i received a starter of shredded chicken and spring rolls. I rang them back to let them know and the fella on the desk said that was definitely what I ordered,.. I tried let him know again it was a 4 in 1 with shredded chicken I wanted and he basically said “would you not just eat the shredded chicken no ?” . I was rendered speechless, he could have just said we can’t send you out a 4 in 1 and left it at that but “would you not just eat the shredded chicken no ?” , are you for real ? Have you no skill in customer service at all ? I would have gave you back your mid shredded chicken because when I opened it in the end it was cold, bland, soggy and it went in bin. Shocking overall, do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Long Thanh Chinese were one of the most highly rated Chinese takeaways that cater to the Smithfield area in the JustEat app so we decided to give them a try. We were happy with the fact that we received the food from Long Thanh ahead of time, 20 minutes early in fact.
Communication was great too and they followed all of our delivery instructions. We ordered the house special chow mein and the salt and chilli shredded chicken which were both savoury, not too greasy and just had the right levels of salt. The house special noodles proved to be a hit and was consumed very quickly. The shredded chicken was very crispy too. Overall, based on speed and the quality of the food, I would give Long Thanh Chinese 5 out of 5.

Staff was very rude ,one person tried to take my friends 20 euro ,and was on the phone for about 10 minutes Very slow for making my 2 3-1 and spice bag and when I got Home it was freezing and the chicken was raw especially the chips and the curry was dried in to the plate , the chicken was pink and i saw green on my chip in the curry , they got me order wrong I asked for a spice bag with no veg or onions and she looked at me and then she looked at the spice bag and she went back in to the room they were cooking and gave out to them and still gave me the spice bag so I recommend not to go here again they need a whole new staff because this spice bag and curry was disgraceful and smelled rotten

Don’t order this place. The reviews are fake. We had to throw out all our food. All the chicken smelled gone off. Sauces are awful. This is a spice box and pork in honey. Usually I cna force my way through bad food but it felt like it came from the bin. The pork was green. Absolutely awful

Food is good but the delivery guy made me wait outside for 10 minutes because he can’t read the map and went to the wrong area. I told him on the phone exactly where to go aswell and he said he was there. Then calls the phone screaming and cursing me out telling me how his time is more valuable than mine and if I’m not outside in one minute he’d drive away, he then listened for a second and drove 10 seconds down the road to the right address. All while I was waiting outside the front of the apartment the whole time.

This is by far the best chinese takeaway in and around the city centre bar none ! food always arrives hot , staff are always as helpful and polite as you could ever ask for , and this is before we even get to talking about the food I’ve tried almost every chinese in the City & believe me none are better the shredded chicken is not just batter its not stringy it’s proper chicken and is seasoned properly with all the right stuff the chicken balls are unreal too and this is before we mention a breast of chicken curry diced. All in all I can’t praise this shop enough absolutely love them !!!

I recently tried this takeout restaurant, and I must say the food was outstanding. Every bite was delicious and full of flavor. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for its fantastic food and excellent customer service!
