OK, please understand. No other review matters like mine is about to matter. I read all the reviews other than the bad ones. Everybody saying this is the only Chinese restaurant they trust in town I don’t trust you never will and I don’t even know you let’s start with wonton soup. The only one time I had wonton soup It was not noodle soup. It was wonton. You know the little crunchy OK. Let’s move on to the house lo mein baby. I know I don’t have the correct terms of what this stuff is, but I’m gonna explain it to you the best way I know how and maybe you’ll know what I’m talking About But I have never had the little baby looking corn on the cob in my lo mein or those little frisbee looking potato crunchy pieces in my lo mein or mushrooms in my lo mein nor did I ever have top Ramen noodles in my lo mein. My boyfriend ordered fried rice and all the Chinese places I’ve ever been to the rice was yellow I kidd you not the rice was brown. Even the extra rice they give you (normally white) brown. I have a picture inserted that I gave to the cats in my neighborhood because we will not eat it 50 some odd dollars and it was garbage a lot of hot garbage. Looks like the cars don’t want it either. That’s sad
Came back to also say that the entrance doesn’t look good either. Charlotte’s web greets you and the fortune cookies . I’m a punctual person with everybody wasting my time. The fortune gone say, “Respect others time” bishhhhhhhh. The second said “call that person you are thinking about”. And th third one didn’t even have a fortune!! Horrible!!!!!!!!

I ordered from this place because I craved “Chinese” food. I ordered General Tso’s Chicken with pork fried rice and Orange Chicken with veggie fried rice. When it was delivered, nothing was marked, so I tasted everything to decided which dish was which. Everything tastes the SAME. It was all pretty bad and bland. NEVER AGAIN! This was a $50 mistake/lesson.

Food was very good! I had Dragon Phoenix and highly recommend it. Next time, I would pass on the egg roll. The outside is a bit rough. The inside is dated. But you won’t be disappointed by the portions or quality of the food. Service was quick, courteous and pleasant.

UPDATE 3/2026… Well, we’re back in town.We decided to come up for the day just to have our taste of Long River cuisine! It’s great.I’ll send a couple of pictures, and I guess we’ll go over and do a little gambling. Joy took care of us as she did in the past.And she remembered exactly what we were going to order. We came in from Raleigh and we’re bringing food back to the rest of the family. Best asian cuisine we’ve had by far. I get the long river triple, and my beautiful bride gets chicken lo-mein with broccoli. We started off with a couple of tasty egg rolls.!

In town for some table games. Decided on a late dinner. Haven’t had Chinese cuisine in a time. This restaurant delivered! Julio delivered 5 star table side care and service and the chefs were spot on. We will return. A must try if you haven’t yet! Julio Rocks his tableside service skills!!
