This is thee cutest cafe they have their own little chicken coop too! The outside seating area is so cute with lots of flowers. On site parking is available. I stop here for the breakfast sandwich and I can confirm it’s 10/10. The pricing isn’t bad either. The bun is so soft and airy so it doesn’t feel as heavy as a bagel. Everything is made to order & they use super fresh ingredients! Truly of my favorite breakfast sandwiches in Connecticut! The cafe also offers items to go such as salads, cheeses, gelato, honey & so much more!

Pretty great sandwiches. Yes, the price is a little steep but at the same time, so is real estate in Old Lyme. It’s hard for businesses to serve the community and still do well with a physical location. We have to start cutting small business owners some slack on rent if we want cheaper prices on the food. Maybe throw in a bag of chips for lunch items (or a cookie), and I think the price would settle a bit with people. The lack of a restroom is real. Hit up Big Y if you really gotta go. Overall, though, the food is made fresh and is exactly what you want out of a sandwich from a place like this. Had a great first experience. Outdoor seating is nice.

Love this place- Great fresh food (in a sea of fast food garbage out there) and Tara is always there to greet with a warm smile. There really is nothing in the surrounding towns quite like Long River Local especially for their wonderful breakfast foods. Fan for life!

This super cute market and cafe is incredible!! The vibe is cute and cozy, with plenty of comfy outdoor seating. I truly love my chai latte with almond milk! John, my barista, has such a kind soul and knows how to make an AMAZING chai latte! Truly top tier! Will be a regular spot for me from now on!

They were pretty bad with my order. For iced coffee they poured hot coffee over ice and it tasted watered down and awful. Then the Bacon Egg and Cheese I ordered came out with an over easy egg that burst all over the place when I took a bite. Very dissapointed since it is a pricey establishment.

I stopped in here twice for coffee. It’s small but very charming. It has some boutique dry goods nicely merchandised in the store. Their menu offerings range from breakfast to lunch sandwiches. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the iced latte here. I had a breakfast sandwich with wilted greens – it was fine but definitely not bowled over by it. The portion was small & it lacked flavor. I know they get their eggs from their chickens & they tout their fresh ingredients. I will come by again for another try at their food & coffee. The staff were all very friendly, helpful & efficient. It’s definitely a cute little spot.

Super friendly staff, and delicious food. I got the bacon egg and cheese and it was extremely fresh, and it looks like they get their eggs from their chickens right out back! The coffee was also delicious as well. Highly recommend

Twice I’ve had to pump out old cold coffee from their craft. Which is a shame because Ashlawn is usually a great product.
Their prices are high and they have no restroom to wash your hands before ordering food. Although their overpriced pastries did not look appetizing so I didn’t ask about sanitizer.
It’s worth the couple minute drive to the actual Ashlawn farm coffee shop in Old Saybrook. They serve their coffee fresh, have a restroom and delicious food.
