I had a craving for Long John’s today, so I stoped by the only location remotely near me and it was everything I remembered. I have not been in several years, but that ends today. I may go back tomorrow! I had a combo with one piece of fish, one piece of chicken, fries, and two hush puppies. The food was hot, fresh from the fryer and it HIT! The fish was my favorite. It was so mild and flaky. The hush puppies are the absolute best. I miss the old fries as opposed to the current waffle fries but no big deal, they still taste good. The staff was very friendly, efficient and the restaurant was clean.

I drove from midway area to here: was it worth it? HECK YES!!!! I ordered my favorite meal as a kid. The chicken meal from LJS and one supreme hard shell from TB. Best TB supreme hard shell I’ve ever tasted! Service was attentive and good, only thing was I didn’t know I could get regular fries instead of waffle. I heard someone say that when I was eating BUT didn’t change my mind of this was a great eat and worth the trip north . Thank youuuuuuuuu

Long John Silver’s at 6622 W Fullerton Ave in Chicago delivers exactly what you hope for — hot, crispy, and flavorful seafood served quickly and with a smile. The fish and shrimp are always cooked to golden perfection, with that signature crunch that makes every bite satisfying. The sides, like hush puppies and coleslaw, are consistently fresh and tasty, rounding out a classic comfort meal. The restaurant is kept clean and organized, and the staff work efficiently to keep the line moving, even during busy times. It’s a dependable spot for a quick, delicious seafood fix that always hits the spot.

Food was ok but not nearly as good as most of the other Long John Silver’s that I’ve been to. The breading on the fish tasted and looked like it was fried in cooking oil that defiantly needed to be changed. Staff was friendly. I honestly won’t go back there again.

What a combo. I don’t see many Long John silvers anymore, but combined with a Taco Bell is an added bonus. They changed the LJS chicken, it was way better before. The fish is still good.

I’ve been eating Long John Silver’s chicken for a long time. So long in fact that I started eating them when they were called “chicken planks.” During this time period, there have been instances where the food was below expectations. But overall the food has been pretty good. But, for the the last year or so, the food from the location on Fullerton Avenue has been absolutely horrible!!! I’ve tried to give this location my support time and time again. But it seems that unless you instruct them to have your food cooked fresh, you’re probably going to be very dissatisfied with your meal. I recently ordered from this location and every single piece of food was rock hard. How does a food establishment actually sell this to their customers? I’ve never had a meal this terrible It’s really a shame because there aren’t any other LJS locations that are near my home. So, as a result, when I do have a taste for this, I have to gamble and take a chance on whether the food will actually be edible once I return home If I could give a rating lower than 1 star, I would

Pretty good. I hadn’t had Long John Silver’s in a while since this is one of the last ones left in the Chicago area. The food was good and pretty much matches what I remember. That is saying a lot these days with most fast food quality dropping drastically.
