I ordered a value meal that came to $8.29 I make it home and the 3 pieces of fish are so greasy that they are soggy and the fries are cold. My meal is inedible so I called to speak with a manager and I’m put on hold and I hear the lady asking where one of the two managers are then she says that figures their never around. I was then put on the phone with a very nice young lady that helped with the problem, she needs promoted her customer service skills were great, they definitely need more people like her there.

My husband and I had 2 two for $6.00 fish 2 PC and 5 shrimp specials. I’m sorry to say but it was terrible. The fish and shrimp had a bleachy taste. All we had on our plates were a tiny square piece of fish and wayyyy too much breading. We won’t ever go back. Enough with the chemical, oven cleaner taste. We through it all in the trash.

For years now, I’ve had an overall good experience with the Louisville, OH LJS. The staff is friendly and I’ve enjoyed the food. However last Saturday and again tonight, while the fish was really good and enjoyable, the crumbs that came with my order tasted like they had oven cleaner or degreaser all over them.
It was a horrifically unpleasant chemical taste that didn’t exactly burn, but the aftertaste didn’t wash away for several minutes. I’m not likely to go back. Once is a fluke. Two weeks straight is a major problem. Either someone did it intentionally or else they lack the training and attention to detail necessary for handling food.
It’s not safe.

I go to the LJS restaurant in Louisville because they do what I want. If I tell them to hold the French Fries then I don’t get them. They listen. The one in Salem, don’t. Salem always gives fries and if you pay for more hush puppies, better check before leaving, because you may have only 2. Not 2 more than 2.

We just got the $5.00 deal meal and it is the worse thing ever. The hush puppies were burnt, French fries were hard as rocks, fish was cold and cookie was pure sugar. This food had been sitting a long time and should have never been sold.
