( Yes ). Where is customer service ever
Waited about 20 minutes for the food. The chicken tenders were really good. The coleslaw was good. The hush puppies were good. The cheese curds were good. The fish was horrible. Tasted like their oil was old or the fish was bad. I’m not sure but I only got like two bites into it before I could not finish it.
Food was great, but the service was plain awful. It took about 10 minutes after I walked in for someone to take orders up front. After I paid, it took another 15 minutes to receive one combo meal. Other people received similar service and were unhappy. One lady did apologize for the long wait.
Everyone was working at a station, so maybe they were short-staffed.
I’ve worked in fast food for years and if there aren’t enough employees scheduled, this level of service is common.
The fish was not good. I’ll never go back for fish and chips.
The tarter sauce was like mayonnaise.
The reason you got 4 of 5 stars is due to your drive-thru speaker. I know it is challenging to have an outdoor speaker that takes on every weather element we have from cold to hot, but I couldn’t understand what your colleague was saying. I gave up and drove forward to let her know I wanted crispy and what my side choice was. That speaker created a communication break down between the customer and your staff. Please upgrade to a better speaker. It has always been frustrating for me. I visit your store at west once a month.
This location has never screwed up my order. Your drinks are not watered down like at Taco Bell. Your Cole slaw recipe has surpassed expectations over the decades as the absolute best. I no longer get your original recipe, because it is NOT the original recipe. Y’all changed the recipe trying to outdo yourself and messed that up. Now it’s too salty. I bought a bucket last year that I could not eat. Soooooooooooo disappointed. It was for a picnic and returning it to the store was not an option since I was 30 miles away at the beach. Hungry at the beach. Ya can’t claim original recipe anymore so I suggest you stop calling it that before somebody sues you for false advertisement. Seriously. I could sue you, but I’m not that petty. Caution to the wise: some people are. Technically— y’all owe me a bucket of chicken. I ate cole slaw and biscuits at the beach. I was not happy. Maybe call it the UnOriginal recipe. New and not so improved. Saltier recipe. Yuck.
All that said, your store is my go to location for chicken. Crispy chicken. And cole slaw! Your instant mashed potatoes need help. Big time. Ask yourself, “Do I enjoy them?” If you do then your taste buds are whack. My mom can’t eat salty food. She shared the Cole slaw and biscuits with me. We had to stop somewhere on way home to get food. We were hungry. Man go back to the early 1900’s recipe. You know? The ORIGINAL RECIPE!!!!
