We went thru drive thru tonight. The sign out front does not specify if it is chicken or fish for the Tuesday $10 deal. The girl was SUPER rude!!!!!! I realize we were there at 830pm, but people were pulling in behind us and we didn’t want much. It shouldn’t have mattered if we wanted a full meal or a late night snack. I did NOT deserve to be spoken to so rudely!!!! We will NOT be back!!!!!!!

Stopped to get carry out. Fish chicken plate, and wings special from KFC. Wings were great . Fish was really greasy tasting but good taste with tarter sauce.

Use to rate this restaurant high after today’s order just 1 star. Ordered their own long johns special, 6.99 2 fish 2 hush puppies and 1 side. I add 3 shrimp and they didn’t give me the hush puppies. Sad when you don’t know your own specials.

The employees were very friendly and accommodating. The food is about as good as fast food gets. I had a nice lunch there with a friend. Lots of empty seats inside at lunchtime. I guess other people like to eat in their vehicles. I don’t.

I am writing this review with much disappointment!! The LSJ I went to is in, East Tawas, Michigan. I have enjoyed many meals there in the past, with the JJL and the KFC restaurants that share the facility, but this meal was unedible. This was not my first recent very negative experience. On this visit, the drive through window looked in to a very unkept, dirty workstation. I’m glad I didn’t order a drink too. The clerk was friendly, but not very well presented, much like thedrive throughwindow. She took my order and completed the transaction without any problems. But the food was beyond awful! The french fries were soggy and floppy with a dirt taste to them. I ordered a side order of shrimp that was so over cooked the shrimp was cooked to disintegration! There was nothing left inside their breaded coating, in fact, it was so overcooked it hurt my mouth to bite into it to discover the shrimp was excessively overcooked. I had to throw it away and find something else for my meal. This was nearly $15 worth of food! Not something people can afford to do.

We spent over $60 and got 8 pieces of fish and 8 pieces of chicken. I asked for some honey mustard. The lady working the drive through on 05/02/24 at 8:30 pm would only give me 4 honey mustard packets for 16 pieces of meat. Otherwise, I would be charged extra. Way to make me NEVER want to spend $60 on fast food again. That’s a very stingy policy. I will stick with pizza.

I’m not a seafood person but the chicken was pretty good and service was quick. As far as I’m concerned, KFC has the best coleslaw out there and I love the Sobe water they have on tap. Indoors is usually pretty empty but drive thru is usually packed. Very polite service from the crew members along with fast service gets 4 stars from me!

This isn’t just KFC, but they’ve gotten very expensive. And if you’re expensive, you should expect high quality. Twice the food was luke warm & obviously not very fresh (chicken strips). The family fish meal (halibut) we recently had was freshly made & tasty, but extremely greasy. IMHO, you can get better fish for equal $$ at regular restaurants. Love their hush puppies, though.
