Rarely Do Reviews But This Is Very Needed. Ordered LJS Via DoorDash Tonight And Am Sad To say, After Having A SECOND Messed Up Order Today, I Am Over It.
We Received Our Order(2 x Fish And Chicken, 2 extra pieces of chicken, 2 coleslaws). We Received No Napkins, No Utensils, No Straws, No Fries With Our Meal And No Sauce Which I Added To Both Orders (tartar and malt vinegar for 1, all printed on receipt) Then I Added A Special Request For Honey Mustard( THE BIGGEST FONT ON OUR RECEIPT) Since It Was Not On The Sauce Options. May Have Been Unavailable And Totally Fine But All Things Missing Just Made It Worse. This Next Part Is Not Your Fault Directly – DoorDash Only Credited Me .88c For Everything Missing. I’m Not Sure How To Address This In The Future IF I Continue Ordering Via DD. It Seems As I Have To Contact DoorDash, Make A Complaint, Contact The Restaurant , Make A Complaint. Honestly when I Am At Work I Literally Do Not Have The Time To Do So, And By The Time I’m Off, Places Are Closed. Please Resolve This Issue For Me. Thank You.

It would be responsible and respectful to post something to alert customers that says you are out of an item or items rather than let your customers wait in line to find out only after they are at the counter ready to order.
This is not going to force your customers to purchase another item, it will simply make them leave and question whether or not they will be returning in the future.

Girl was very rude to my Autistic grandson. He tried the new Dr. Pepper Cream soda and wanted a refill. The girl literally snapped at him and said sarcastically there’s no refills on that item. Nowhere on that damn sign did it say anything about that you couldn’t get free refills! They should have said that up front when we were getting our order but nothing at all was said!!! It’s just how upsetting how rude she was!! After that I don’t know if I want to come back.

UNCOOKED FISH!!!
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN!!! I bite into this without seeing it and omg I could tell from the taste something was wrong… I live over 20 minutes from this place and called to see what they could do for me and they will only replace the meal, which means just to get my money back I still have to make an unscheduled trip… worst part is my stomach is doing flips now!

We exited off I-70 for lunch here and it was worth the slight detour. The service is really exceptional, nothing like normal fast food service. Our food came immediately and was quite fresh. The interior of this combo KFC-LJS is very modern and clean. Bathroom was also clean and well stocked.

Food was good. Ordered the fish and shrimp and added a chicken plank. Shrimp wasn’t ready, so they asked me to pull into a spot. They brought my food out and I left. Got home and found there to be no shrimp or hushpuppies. So, they had me park because the shrimp wasn’t ready, then brought me a bag of food with no shrimp. I went back to the restaurant and they remade my meal correctly. It tasted like it was supposed to, it was just upsetting that I had to trek all the way back there.

The employees were amazing. The service was very fast and my order was exactly as ordered, as I made some changes to the original meal. The food was hot and fresh, but lacked a lot of taste. It could be that I’m older and maybe LJS was never that good really. It just seems they have changed some ingredients and the food just isn’t good anymore. Also, their tartar sauce seems to be different and it does not taste good at all. Sadly, this will be my last visit to any LJS because I have such great memories going as a child with my mom, sister and grandmother.
