Update: they didn’t need to close the long John silver side. They needed to hire staff that cared. The problem will still be here. Haven’t been back since my experience.
We went through the drive-thru and received really old and cold food. I went back to correct it. The girl behind the registry was rude and dismissive. Instead of saying sorry, we will correct this for you. She said it’s going to be a while for fresh food. Then, with the constant eye rolling, she poured grease from the fryer into my food. The manager on duty was cursing. I didn’t want to talk to him about the situation. I haven’t been to long John silvers in a long time. I won’t be going back.

I love Long John silver’s. They have the best fish and shrimp and chicken. It’s always crunchy and the fries are always fresh and hot.

I do love the seafood at Long Johns, but the overall service is disappointing. They constantly challenge me when I ask for condiments. I ask for tartar sauce and they are quick to say we can’t give that much. Only place I have that problem with, almost like they have financial issues. They also miscount shrimp all the time and often looks like my stufff was thrown together in a hurry.

Visited June 6th, drive thru. Was told dine-in and carry out only, drive thru closed, has pickets on the grounds stating there will be no more Long John’s Silvers from the 11th of June and later. Inside lobby management is telling staff “after the last order no more ljs, no more, none of it! ” so be advised, this is just KFC and not a very convenient KFC at that. Popeyes across the street isn’t much better, btw. Hard biscuits, plain chicken, avoid if you can.

25 minute wait for 2 combo meals at a non peak time. Cashier was surly. Employees not wearing non slip shoes. Manager walked in to the KFC/LJS restaurant carrying a Chick Fil A bag and enjoyed his lunch in the lobby. I do not recommend this restaurant. Men’s room was disgusting, complete with Drain Flies. Food was packaged carelessly and order was not presented all at one time.

Over a year ago at Casselberry (near Oxford Rd) location. Very unprofessional: unwarranted attitude, eyerolls, cussing, etc. Ordered through the drivethrough. One of the items ordered was the Nashville hot nuggets. They got the order wrong(no Nashville hot nuggets)! Parked car and went inside: no apology, not a care in the world and on the edge of begging to get fired. When I received nuggets, they weren’t spicy at all. It was as if someone intentionally poured a couple cups of hot grease on them. They leaked through every container/bag and even leaked on the car floor (while still parked). Food was thrown away and we drove elsewhere to eat. Never went back to that location.

Went to the drive-up window. Staff member was nice enough, but other staff members kept coming over to her talking about personal stuff while she was trying to assist me. She almost forgot to give me my credit card back. The food: my fried fish was too greasy, the apple knots weren’t cooked enough and the same thing went for the shrimp. It was not cooked enough and it greasy… Really bad experience. I threw it away cause I had an appointment I was headed to. SMH She also forgot my condiments.

We took a 40-minute drive because we don’t have a Long John Silver’s where we are, and it is the only fish I will eat. It has been years since I have had it. Fish piece sizes are a ton smaller than what they used to be, but it is still the same flavor. They did over fry the chicken and was a bit dry. No biggie. I couldn’t eat it all anyway. I did miss the little crunchy pieces that they used to give you.
The main issue with this location is the cleanliness of the restaurant. I went into the girls’ bathroom, and it smelled like a dirty person’s house. It was gross. Where you sit, it was just dingy. We also picked a window seat by the garbage, and there were a ton of little ants in a row on the wall going from the window to the garbage can.
They also didn’t have plates. It was served in all take out kfc containers, and they only had spoons with forks on the end. Not enough to cut through my food, so I had to pick it up and eat it.
My suggestion is to take some time cleaning your restaurant.

This place was dirty with trash, crumbs and food pieces left all over tables and the floor. The food pieces was small really really small (golf ball size). The chicken was stale and the meat was chewy.
This has to be the worst Long John’s visit we have ever had. Just to explain just how bad, ONLY IF this Long John’s HAD a “ring the bell to show how good the service was”, I would rip the bell off the wall and take it with me, the service, food and environment was that bad.

Stopped in around 8:30 and ordered a bucket meal online. Unfortunately for me they were out of extra crispy. But thankfully they did have original and even let me swap out my fries for mashed for them being out. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because they were out of a product. Other than that my experience was a 5/5
