We tried the 8 piece fish with 12 shrimp. They did not have the limited coconut shrimp. Overall, the fish was good, but had been overcooked. Cole slaw and potatoes were both great. Hubby and I both thought they could have provided a little bit more cole slaw. Fairly clean area, mainly services the interstate traffic. Good place to stop for a quick meal.

good food near truck stop fuel your truck and do your stuff grab you some healty food. stay away from fried chikens and fries. eat some sea food here and countinue your journey they stay till 22:00 wich is good.

Overall cleanliness is good but the booth style seating left a little room for improvement. Didn’t know about the Charlie cheesesteak incorporation into same building in a A&W-Long John Silvers kinda way. No issues and Charlie’s has $1 ice cream cones so that’s not bad lol !

One of the few LJS food stops still around. Their employees are friendly and their cooks do a great job frying it up just right. They have Coke and Pepsi fountains. It a frequent stop on our way home from Dallas.

Pretty sad this is the only Long John Silvers in a truckstop and it sucks. Everything is either overcooked under cooked or recooked. It’s sad when a employee says “i leave the cooler door open to help keep it cool in the kitchen. It’s sad when the cook is wearing a long sleeve hoodie using it to wipe sweat and pull back his long messy hair. I ordered a #10. 2 fish, 6 shrimp with double fries. It looks like I got double cooked shrimp. Double cooked fish and a half order of fries. I don’t think I will ever return to this place.

What a gem. Stopped in for some fish and was greeted by a happy friendly crew. Fish and hush puppies were cooked fresh and were hot and crispy (just like I remembered). Wish all places were like this – will be back. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I ordered the Salmon and shrimp platter with corn and coleslaw for the sides and chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
The salmon was a little over-cooked and the cook had scraped a dried piece of fish off the grill into my platter. The corn was way overcooked, to the point of being hard. The rice was perfect and the coleslaw delicious. The shrimp was also done perfectly.
The girl at the register was friendly and amiable. She seemed to have a natural ability to make the customer feel valued. She was knowledgeable about the food which is helpful for a first time customer.
The establishment itself was decorated to be fun and presentable. There was St. Patrick’s day art painted on the windows and the tables were uncluttered but a little greasy.
This is not a place for a date, but I wouldn’t be against taking a friend here for a quick lunch. I will likely return to give them another try.

Stopped there today, just happy I found an LJS. All the ones around me have closed, but my happiness was soon turned to sadness. I waited 5 minutes for anyone to even come to the counter to take my order, mind you, it was just me and one other guy there. I ordered 3 chicken planks and 3 shrimps. The gal rang up 3 FISH and that was what I got. I returned them and they said they would have to cook 3 chicken planks. When I got them, I had never seen such planks, they were unrecognizable (see photo) as LJS planks, but I have been at work for 10 hours and I was hungry, so I ate them anyway. I can tell you I will not stop there again, well not for the chicken anyway, the shrimp were great.

Took over 20 minutes to get my food. The food itself was made really terribly. I got a rice bowl, and 2 chicken and shrimp baskets and that somehow costs 45$ i literally only got 3 french fries on my plate im never coming back here.
