I have not been to a Long John Silvers in 15 years. Food was fresh and piping hot, coleslaw was crisp and cold, chicken cooked to perfection, hush puppies as I once remembered. I was more impressed and honestly, GREATLY impressed by the staff, the service and care they gave. I had low expectations as most of the same establishments back in the day had insufferable people working. This location the employees were all smiles, so kind, helpful and honestly I felt safe and welcomed. If you are familiar with Long John Silvers you won’t be disappointed by this location.
I should add, ai noticed someone else review, the place was clean and the bathroom door to the women’s restroom locked without issues. I ate on a Monday around 5:00pm.

So my brother and I got the chance to hang this weekend and eat some of our favorite foods. We knew our Saturday choice was going to be Long John Silver’s. We’d actually had it planned for a week to grab LJS for lunch. On our drive to get it (we live approximately 35 minutes away) we began discussing ordering ahead and I found the phone app. There was a deal this weekend to buy one platter and get the second one for free. Score!! We each wanted the chicken and fish platter and it came with two sides. We both chose the waffles fries and extra hush puppies. We didn’t realize how much food we had until we got back home with our gold. When we opened our boxes, we were stunned. Let me tell you, we each had enough food to eat for lunch and the rest for dinner. Even writing this review, I’m still amazed at how much food we each had. The only thing I can say I was disappointed about, we wanted extra tartar sauce and only got 2 packets total. We will definitely be going back for another Long John Silver’s adventure soon. I think next time we won’t get an extra side of hush puppies because it was too much. They were good, don’t get me wrong, but we each had an additional six hush puppies. Overall, a great experience.

I had sworn off LGS for good after a truly terrible experience a year or so ago. Heard they had a new owner and gotten a complete face-lift, so decided to check it out. Best choice I could have made because from the moment I walked in, I knew things had changed for the better. The new interior was open and bright, the crew were cheerful and engaged and the food… hot, fresh and ready in under five minutes! After years of getting anything I ordered served barely above room temp after a 20+ minute wait, it was like going back in time twenty years to when the franchise was thriving. Only complaint I would have is that they still have those awful waffle fries .

I went through the drive thru around 11:00. Service was FAST and VERY friendly. My order was correct and still hot when I opened it 15 minutes later. The fries, fish, and hush puppies were perfectly crispy and delicious.

Before it was a one-star review I had to delete that review apparently they are Under New Management and they just went through a full remodel the chicken is hot and fresh the shrimp is great the hush puppies are outstanding the green beans are great they’re pop taste good again I am in shock congratulations good job guys

Food was about the only thing good would have been better if it would have been hot (it was room temp) we sat and waited for our name to be called and after almost 20 min one guy came up and said I think your food is sitting up here and he didn’t even work there so for almost 70 bucks im really unhappy and probably will not be back. And on top of that there was chemicals sitting in the eating area
